Recently, Red Bull Detroit and community advocates in the heart of the city completed a DIY skatepark, appropriately entitled the Wig. Formerly a city park of sorts, the Wigle Recreation Center had fallen into a state of urban decay, due to the financial crisis that has plagued Detroit for some time.
But as we all know, where there is a will, there is most definitely a way. Thanks to volunteers and hundreds of hours of dedicated construction work, the Wig offers skaters a dope place to congregate, without the hassle of getting kicked out by security. Full article on Stupiddope.com.

Kaili Randmae, an inspiring Estonian girl studying medicine in Finland, has found her balance through pursuing the extreme hobby of skating and practicing a nurturing job as a nurse.

This profile is dedicated to one of the hardest working girls in our small industry called rollerblading. Running a company called Adapt, putting Chimera back on the map and working on big projects with Symetrics, life has been a bit hectic in the last 4 years.
Putting skating on the background has been a difficult task. In 2014, Olga decided it was time again to go back to the roots and use rollerblading to keep her motivated in life and find new goals in skating.
