Vice.com: What I Learned Growing up Rollerblading in the 2000s Article by Robbie Pitts (2015)

I started rollerblading as a kid because it was everywhere. You’d see it on Heartbreak High everyday after school. Drazic and the guys were always blading and it looked really cool to me. Or if you were in a holiday program, one of the days would be going to a skate rink. Choosing rollerskates was never an option.

Tom Scofield: Melbourne Park, VC Edit (2014)

In 2014 Tom Scofield relocated from Wellington NZ to Melbourne for a change in lifestyle and to experience the Melbourne / Australian rolling scene first hand.

Since his arrival he has seamlessly integrated into the Melbourne Rollerblading crew. The local characters he has watched through Aussie rolling media have now become his close friends, and he has been killing the game.

He took out 2nd place at the 2014 Australian Rolling Open, 2nd at the Victorian Titles at held at his local park in Prahran, and you can see him getting better and better at every session.

Now representing Square Wheels from his homeland of New Zealand, and his new Australian sponsor Velvet Couch Clothing, Tom is a very welcome addition to the family.

Be sure to keep an eye out for his upcoming street edit!
