It’s been a while since the Razors team has gotten together and put something out. We couldn’t think of a more perfect time than now, to celebrate and give thanks to our homie, the legend, Mr Scott Quinnnnnnnny. The idea behind the edit was just to say “We love you Quinny” and thanks for being the coolest.
Featuring Json Adriani, Victor LeGrand, Mathias Silhan, Alex Burston, Daniel Nielsen, Josh Glowicki, Aritz Ortega, Andrew Diapaolo, Jarrod Banning, Fredrik Andersson, Jeremy Kesler, Dre Powell, Jon Fromm, Tommy Chung, Yuri Botelho, Taylor Ritchie, Salim Sikha, Jon Matter, Nicolas Servy, Adrien Clairaz, Scott Quinn, Hugo Ruckly, Edwin From Hell, and a few clips from our homie Carson Starnes.
Filmed and edited by Michael Pedersen.
A couple of years ago, myself along with a handful of other southern doods, found ourselves in New York City. While on our travels we’re strolling through a little place called Time Square.
We turned a corner next to a building known as Central Station. As we were walking past, we ran into a guy wearing a razors hooded sweatshirt. That was the very first time I was able to meet Aritz Ortega.
Due to a language barrier and the few thousand people swarming us, there time for nothing more than a short lived greeting.
I knew upon the introduction, that there was a reason we met. Fast forward a couple years to present day. Just as the rest of you, I have got to watch him grow as an individual skater. His unique style and choice of tricks are a rarity. Though you might only see internet DSLR footy of this pretty boy, I’ve gotten to know him as something different.
He’s full of passion for rollerblading. A fun type of skating, that at times seems lost and drowned out by trends and safety precautions. Aritz is one of those few, that really likes the scare himself. Looking for new ways to get the job done.
Though he is a crucial part to the future of the SL boot, he took the time to get this number together. And we can’t say thanks enough for the proper representation dawg.
Keep handling business over there, Aritz. As the revolution continues to grow, I hope we get the chance to work together again soon.
Who knows, maybe Aritz will end up as one the full fledged members of what we now call, The Cult Revolution. – Justin Chad Anthony.
These are the moments I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy with my good friend and professional rollerblader Aritz Ortega. Sweet moments, magnificent places with great stories to remember (New York, Madrid, Malaga, Leon and more). – On6sidefilms.
