Make these in the ICON style. The old Genesis boot is to bulky after skating the ICONS and the Carbons. The future is here in slimmer/lighter skates. I won’t go back to the Genesys style.

So this is the state of our industry these days, MONEY MAKING when they pay the pros pennies. Arguably people say there is no money in our industry, at least no enough to fund it like we used to in the 90´s. (That might mean not enough for people that don´t skate to parasite us.)
I say f*** off the man with the suit. In the long run WE DO NOT NEED HIM, Wagner, Knoll and the ones working for them are really your real enemy, the leeches bloodsuckers!!!!!!

Well, it’s really good making new colours, thanks razors(for all the purple, green, red aqua, and so on colours) thanks for a new boot after 7 years of same boots… people stop talking like that:)

god dam you people are such bitches…the gen is a great boot that lots of people skate, why are you made that razors has stepped it up and tried to make skates in every color. All i ever hear is “we want colored parts” now that they come out people bitch. I ride a UFS throne which is also a “old” boot design because its fucking dope and i don’t need 300 dollar carbons or the next big thing. Big deal they copied some of the USD color schemes. they also made purple, green, red, and teal parts, not to mention they had a gold/tan cuff way before the sagonas. I don’t even ride razors and i think you people are absurd. Get a grip, of coarse they need to make money, when you all grow up you’ll realize that you can’t skate your whole life and never worry about money. the people who own razors probably have kids, and bills and real problems, move out of mommy and daddy’s house and start your own skater run boot company in a rescission if your going to bitch. fucking groms

Personally they look nice, and i’m not gonna dog on Razor for competition. But really, USD Juuuuust came out with the new VII’s with the same colors. Coincidence ?
That kinda matte Gold/Black thing is really starting to grow on me.
These are still a great skate. Its great to see that they are giving so many color options.

do you all understand the gen boot is fucking great so many people skate the boot. that skates is one of the most popular boots around . why do you think they would just stop . there updating the entire razors liner with colors witch has been almost every ones compliant about razors and then they do what you want and then you complain how they should be doing some thing else
and about the gen being old almost everyone loves when usd drops some ufs or classic thones and those skates are older than the gen all you bitch at razor you bring us the same shit over and over but none of you complain about usd

I’m going to stop wasting my time looking at the comments on Razor topics. It contains the same exact responses: razors suck! hate hate hate… then SHUT UP! RAZORS RULES. DON’T HATE. I love the skates. If I didn’t like them I would simply say I don’t like them. Old? New? I don’t know, and it seems like nobody else does either. I don’t care. They’re hot.

the gold ones look sick. why doesn’t andy wegener smarten up and use these same colour schemes on the SL boots. make a budget range SL boots. maybe equip them with stock razors frames, i dont care. but seriously, there are way too many gen models and not enough SL versions (at least in different colours i mean)

Razors are quality skates, I’m not going to hate because they keep the same design, it works for them, so don’t fix it. But using the word “prototype” in the title is what’s throwing me off. Prototypes are something used for testing before mass production, and we already know these are going to work from years of experience. Just title it “new razors,” because I see nothing different.

the only reason these are prototypes is to see what people think of the look, look at the black/gold skate, it’s a g7.1 custom really, we know it’s good because the g7.1 is good, they are just trying to give themselves a signature style

- i was just browsing rollernews about razors and whats new and all… and happen to read comments on the new color scheme. i do agree that theres alot of haters in the comments. all they do is bitch and moan about what they want. and you know whats funny about them…when i read the razors post about the red genesys le boot comin out i read alot of “wows!!” and “OMGs” and everybody wanted a pair. (you can read about it and see for yourself!) theres even one guy that said “it would be cool if they had a color scheme like the franky remz…” now that theyre here you guys complain about them trying to copy USD color schemes…thats just plain “what the fuck?”
