Nice Review! Are the Nimh’s alot like Valo’s at all? Keep up the good skating man!

man some people are way to harsh on Jon. Jon has been holding it down for a long time in the Greater Toronto Area and is a respected member of the rolling community here. I liked the edit and the review was good, if you think you can do better I suggest you do so before complaining.

Some nice skating there dude, as far as a review goes I mean there’s not much to say, its a skate and its made for grinding like the rest of these aggressive skates, if you like how they look then try em on and if they are comfy then skate them, if not then look else where, there you go a skate review that is universal!!!!

its not that he is bad at skating or anything, its just lame that is sounds like he is reading a script that nimh gave him. it didn’t sound like his opinion because there was no feeling behind it.
great skating though.

Make your own groove is not that bad , but this dude seems to me like tellin you that the worst skate had actually arrived !!
June 22nd, 2008 at 9:35 pm
why did he tell us all the facts before he skated it, and then no real feedback about how he actually thought they were after skating.
some good skating tho but not review wise.

I hope some of the people in this know that theres a lot more people that just take the skate to a curb than people who actually skate a ledge to get there own groove. all you have to do anyway is scratch the soul plate where you usually grind and then just wear that area down on a curb anyway.
I liked this edit way more than the european kids anyway. this guy skates pretty solid.

The make your own groove thing is awesome. At first, it sucks. Royales just don’t work until you do. You’ll find yourself having a tough time doing ‘em until you break in the soul plate.
Basically, I just went to a curb, lightly waxed it (and I mean lightly), got a little speed, and did some royales. Sure, I didn’t go very far grinding, but it did put a nice little groove in the soul. Once you get that groove, start scraping the crap out of it by hand for a small amount of time. Don’t do it too much, though. It should fit on the curb because of the groove you made from the initial grinding. Then, go do some more royales on the curb, scrape it, and repeat. Finally, you should have your own personal groove in there. Mine works perfectly and smoothed out over time after I did some general grinding. It took me about 10 mins to do. Completely worth it :D Just skate a lot after you get that initial groove in there and nature will take over – your body and grinding style *will* make a personal groove that fits perfectly for *you.* It’s really really cool.
