Oh man, I feels like I’m in middle-school all over again. I remember rewatching that little street/ramp scene over and over again (and getting annoyed by Seth Green even back then). I feel old knowing that some kids out there weren’t even born before this released.

First of, Brink cannot even touch Airborne when it comes to legendary skate movies. Mainly cause Chris Edwards made skating look ILL even in 1995. Dont bring up Brink when speaking of this flick, its not even in the same league. Some of Edwards skating in Airborne was stuff he could ONLY do back then. so it was sick while Brink was all stuff any pro skater back then could do.

this is a post from the “razors new mold” thread that I think yall need to read
People REALLY need to read this……
When will you little fuckin kids realize that since you have to make skates in many sizes (unlike bmx and boarding), having to continually make new molds costs hundreds and thousands of dollars, WHICH is money that PRO skaters should be making. Its because of all you little bitches complaining about wanting something that LOOKS new and different that causes all the companies to waste their money trying to compete with each other by making newer molds. If you faggots just were happy with what is out there and works completely FINE, then the SKATE COMPANIES COULD ACTUALLY PAY THEIR RIDERS, PROMOTE BETTER ON TV, AND HAVE MORE BIGGER BETTER EVENTS. But nooo. you kids wanna bitch every time razors or a skate co. comes out with a new model and its not a new mold. THAT IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS SKATING ISNT GETTING BIGGER AND PROS LIKE LATIMER HAVE TO QUIT. You dont see skateboarders bitchin about there not being a new board shape everytime. WHY? Because IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT, INSTEAD PAY YOUR FUCKIN RIDERS. Soooooooo. STOP BITCHIN AND GO OUT AND SKATE. I started to skate in 1993 in Bravoblades for god sake and you fuckin spoiled brats start with GENESYS but it isnt good enough? Please grow up, dont complain, so they can REALLY COMPENSATE a pro like Haffey instead. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD, & THANK YOU for your time.

I liked this film.

I think it’s funny when you watch the credits of this movie because there are so many people in this film…for example Pat Parnell was in this movie. He’s the guy who hosts for Fuel TV. Why is it that Dave Paine and Pat Parnell and I know there are others work for Fuel TV and yet they have not fought (or maybe they have and failed) for rollerblading to be on this channel!! I guess they have to pay their bills but you would think they could have some influence.

This movie plus Mad Beef plus x games #1 is how I fell in love with “aggressive” skating… memories… jesus that movie is 15 years old (almost)… awsome to know that Seth Green (Family Guy, Robot Chicken, various movies) and Jack Black (Movies & Tenacious D fame) were in that movie…

January 10th, 2008 at 4:04 am
a classic at best… i remember this flick way back in the day. i think i was skating RB lightnings back then with home made grind plates until i got those rad CDS detroits…. man, i love the old days. don’t get me wrong… the new school of skating is sick, but back in the day when someone pulled a new trick it was the best thing ever. i remember when i thought backslides were insane. now being 33 years old and having a 4 yr. old son i hope to show him how to roll and enjoy it as much as i have for the past 16 years!!! rollerblading has made my life so much better with the good times and great friends i have made through this sport/culture/lifestyle!

I just think it’s so nuts to see this pretty big name actors like Jack Black and Seth Green in this movie.
And yes, Dave Pain does work for Fuel TV. I think he’s a big shot over there from what I heard. I think he’s the head of the daily show, the one where they do all the interviews.

Does anyone know where I can find this film (preferably on DVD) for purchase anywhere?
