Oh, finally! I thought Xsjado was out of business. It’s SO comforting to see there’s a new set coming. I myself changed to Xsjados last summer…. I must say, they are the best skates I’ve ever skated… since 1998. THE BEST! The feel of the terrain and the flex is absolutely superb! Works brilliantly – at least for me.

For all of you wanting to try my Crazy Cult Cake, as listed above, just remember three things:-
1. Smoking can Kill
2. The oven is to be set to 245 degrees celcius, gas mark 9

I think Xsjado should of released this color skate when they first started. This is a nice colore.

very nice. xsjados are best skates after remz. for those who bitch about nothing new: im just like that most of the time but xsjado has done something so revolutionary that they can chill for like 2-3 years til they should come up with sth new…rocket skates or so hahh

Hang on, its not about which is better, it really depends on the skater and their style. There are too many variables. Personally I own both, and i am currently riding the Razor Cults. Both are excellent, we really dont need to compare. Back to topic: these are nice clean skates, and as we all know they work well. Why change?

nice like the footwraps perfect for my white basics ahaha!! the black looks more shiny than on the old ones and im not sure but the buckle looks as if it is black ! nice done

they are sick i customed my old basics to all black and now they have released it. not feelin the footwrap tho, looks chunky at the toe cuz of the diff colours and it reminds me of the nimh toe idk which i dont like…
id rock my current black old basic footys in there, that would be sick.

thats the sherpa footwrap . . but where are the farmer 2’s? . . i want to see those really bad, they are probably going to be so sick . . and also on those the straps look like a different material so they are probably stronger . . the cuff looks different too

Well I have to say this, I want to see a different style xjsado skate. I’ve seen the same shit for three years now. This sucks, same skate just different color, why not just smooth out the cuff. those humps on top make the skate look ugly. The color’s nice but the problem is still the humps. So that’s just the problem I personally have with them.

doesn’t look like the heel locks as well as the old wraps. These are probably for style.

these skates are shipping from China on the 15th, so they should be in European shops around new year’s and US shops early in january. the farmer boots ship at the end of january and the stockwell skeletons sometime in february i believe.
basic complete- $274
farmer boot (skeleton and footwrap)- $239
stockwell skeleton- $174
the “humps” on the cuff aren’t cosmetic, they’re part of the design, the so-called “bamboo” idea that lets the top of the cuff flex independently.
this picture looks goofy because the cuff padding and straps look to be adjusted down and the instep isn’t cranked down. also the wrap isn’t all the way back in the skate. rest assured that the skeletons will look and skate just like the older xsjados, nothing in the molds or material formulas has been changed.

I wonder if these new Xsjados when you buy a size 9 skate if it will come with a small size shell and not the large shell like the old ones… That would be the best if size 9 came in small shell. :)
Yeah I thought Xsjado might be dead as well even though they were bought out by the conference. Psyched to see the company is still alive and kicking. The boots are absolutely amazing.

i advised Powerslide to have the 9 and 9.5 wraps come in the small shell, but i don’t know if it was implemented in time; their factory was replicating salomon’s production so this first run might still have the 9 and 9.5 in the large shell. if so, i’m sure the farmers and other later runs will be “fixed”. any good shop should be able to swap out the wraps for you anyways.

the new wrap looks more like a shoe.
I guess we won’t know for sure until new pictures.
although I kind of liked the climbing shoe look.

I think they look better than the old ones.
But I still think that xjados look dammn uglu. They may be a good skate, but they are one of the uglyest skates on the market eksept for K2 skates.

As a shoe, the footwrap looks nice, but I agree it doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the skate as well as the old ones. Maybe the boot in the pic is too big? Time will tell though. I’m sure the conference won’t fuck this up for all the xsjado fans out there. Have faith boys and girls…

I am going to have to agree with mr. mccumber onthis one. i am sure i could track down my old backyard bob’s to give this skate a run for its money. Sorry guys not a huge fan. I have got my 08 ch1’s sitting in front of me with type m’s. god i want the snow to mel i have not even rolled down the street on em.
