hmmm interesting…. nils 3rd….hmmmmm!!
seems kind of rigged..after all…he seems to be either judged first or like 5th or 6th?
seems like a fixed boxing match to me!
still was a great comp..shouldnt have been the finals though ?
December 17th, 2011 at 9:25 am
Wait a sec …
Broskow is named first place by 3 judges on 6 and he only makes 2nd place on the final results ???
How do you explain this ???
December 17th, 2011 at 9:54 am

That’s how I think it should have ended.. now casey geraghty and mike dempsey are dumb faggot judges. I think the best judged there is vinny minton. Except with broskow and sean so high. Sean kelson shouldnt have even been top 10.
December 17th, 2011 at 10:14 am
Stupid .. What for u doing fan contest .. In d end u still have ur own judges to judge .. What a waste of time ..
December 17th, 2011 at 10:45 am

crying about the judging on the comment section of rollernews is really going to change the outcome now…idiots.i personally wanted broskow to win,but i think the way the overall judging went seems pretty fair.apparently nils’s edit captured the fans hearts and aragon’s edit captured the best blading.cry all you want from here on out,it’s not going to change anything.

I believe Aragon should be first and glad he is, the tricks he laid down through their complexity, technicality and style outweighed everyone really well, nils had a lot of solid hammers and as he continues to progress who knows what will happen, if there was a prize for best trick I’d give it to broskows first trick, or haffeys last, it’s good to see a different firm of competition and I’m sure there will be improvements from here, the last thing we need to be doing is complaining about results and simply support the people in rolling ourselves and each other only from a positive mind state will rolling continue to grow…
December 17th, 2011 at 11:32 am
when you think about a world rolling series a.k.a world championships you expect more thant 1500 $ for the winner…
that’s a shame. it shouldn’t be that hard to put 5000$ for the top 5, especially when all the rollerblading brands are involved or should…even in smaller local competitions they get that…
crazy that only 1 judge put Jacob Juul in his top 10 listing…
December 17th, 2011 at 11:33 am
Vinny Minton was the only judge with integrity and good judging.
December 17th, 2011 at 11:40 am
On WRS website it says the fan favorite will win $4,000.
December 17th, 2011 at 11:48 am
how come aragon get first place? broskow got 3x the first place on individual votes (aragon only 1)
December 17th, 2011 at 11:51 am
ok got it, krasnovs got the answer :
// Broskow not first because in one judge list he is on 9 place!

December 17th, 2011 at 12:23 pm

December 17th, 2011 at 12:40 pm
Don’t know how Sean Kelso can rank with this tap shit on 6 stairs rails…
December 17th, 2011 at 1:08 pm
Anyone who put dave lang in 10th place deserves to take there skates off because its a direct reality that you suck
December 17th, 2011 at 1:31 pm

December 17th, 2011 at 1:45 pm
word. i think the judging was fair… except for broski should have won.. good job.
December 17th, 2011 at 1:48 pm
Vinny Minton is the only one with correct judging. I would know gais.
December 17th, 2011 at 2:06 pm
I thought there was a $4000 purse. I count only 3700. And that’s if Nil Jonson gets an additional 500 bones for his win as fan favorite. Where’s the other $300?
December 17th, 2011 at 3:16 pm
haha. douche bags
December 17th, 2011 at 3:27 pm
Who the hell is Matthew Dearden? I appreciate individual’s choices to some extent but damn bro. You must work for the X-games because you dont have a clue!
December 17th, 2011 at 3:29 pm
FUCK THAT! WHY THE FUCK DID I VOTE AT ALL
December 17th, 2011 at 3:38 pm
ppl cant count:D learn maths please and judge judges after that… and there’s a reason for nils being either 1st or 5-6th and this is: not everyone likes his style, eg me. so for his lovers i say be happy for he being first in the fan vote, but respect what others think. this kid is coming up, and going to be the coolest, but right now he is not… i agree with aragon’s first place
December 17th, 2011 at 3:56 pm
Drew Barachrach was obviously on Mashrooms when he placed Juul over Broskow, Haffey, Bailey and Jansons. HE MUST BE REPLACED AS A JUDGE FOR NEXT YEAR”S WR!!!!! WE ROLLERBLADERS DEMAND THIS!!!!
December 17th, 2011 at 4:01 pm
bahahaha…over 7000 people vote for Nils, so the judges make sure the 4 seeded pros get the money. they even put SK 6th- he was tapping 3 stair rails that my grandmother could tap. The skate companies better open their eyes and realize we dont like watching old pros do small tricks. We like Nils – we like seeing Lang kill the mega ramp. wake up.
Nils is the real winner of this. They picked six shill judges to vote the party line.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:08 pm
Your industry’s shady it needs to be taken over!!! hahaha
December 17th, 2011 at 4:15 pm
really??? broskow 2nd ?????? buahahahah maybey 7 years ago :)
December 17th, 2011 at 4:17 pm
The fan element of this contest is fake. Its more like let the dumb sheep think they are contributing then we will pick our bum buddy down at the lodge as winner.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:20 pm
I completely agree with Aragon winning, but thought second should have gone to the person who had the most views. Shouldn’t an edit be judged on how great of an audience it reaches? If people had really cared about Broskow’s edit, wouldn’t more people have watched it?
Nils has the most entertaining edit. END OF STORY.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:22 pm
I think Nils got $1000 total – $500 for winning the real contest, and another $500 for coming in 3rd. in the phony judging contest. There is still $300 in prize money unaccounted for, which was probably paid to the judges to make sure they picked the top seeded pros.
So I guess Brian Aragon is the WRS Champ for 2011. Too bad Cudot didnt get a chance to beat him in a real end of the year competition.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:30 pm
Oh, ok, I see how this is going to work. Next year, if a European wins three of the 5 star comps in a row, let’s just say Bitter Cold, Winterclash, and Chaz Sands, all the WRS has to do is hold another Uploaded competition annd then: MAJOR PULL, PRIME DEALS! Aragon, Broskow, Haffey and Bailey can get voted “the way they deserve” and come up as top skaters in the world once again.
Don’t think we don’t see you, KATO! JON JULIO! Quit fixing shit for your riders and then expecting everyone to shout “Hurry up and take my money” (< and YES that is a direct quote from the industry's mouthpiece: Brian Krans).
that being said, I think Vinny did the best job judging and I've watched Nils edit more than 10 times now.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:33 pm
10 points for first, 9 points for second, 8 points for third, etc. So…
Aragon 52 points
Broskow 46 points
Nils 42 points
December 17th, 2011 at 4:38 pm
lol I think all those dumb conspiracy theorist need to get off the industry, not the dudes who actually make good shit happen! Like this contest for example, that was fucking great and i can’t wait for next year peace.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:40 pm
HEY, IF YOU THINK NILS RULED AND YOU’RE TIRED OF SEEING THE SAME SKATERS WIN OVER AND OVER WITHOUT DESERVING IT, GO OVER TO THE ONE WEBSITE AND NOMINATE HIM FOR ONE SKATER OF THE YEAR!
Remember what happened when JonJon was robbed. The people still have a chance to be heard!!
December 17th, 2011 at 4:43 pm
The WRS didn’t update their website for an entire year. Then at last minute, we find out Cudot and Aragon are leading WRS, and instead of having a real championship competiiton, there is an edit battle, which Cudot isn’t even entered. So how is Aragon the champ?
WRS should be renamed ARS -American Rolling Series. Let them continue to pick Aragon, Haffey and Broskow for every contest (Razors, Remz, Valo).
The Conference needs to start a World Rolling Series, so the European, Australian, South American and Asian skaters get the recognition they deserve. How was Cudot, Abrate, CJ , Socihiro not in a final championship?
Every year there should be real competition between the U.S. vs. the World so rollerbladers get to see all talent, not just the skaters Razors, Remz and Valo want you to see.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:46 pm
^ if skater of the year is about what someone achieved in 365 days then it’s pretty fking clear to me that haffey deserves it this year!!! nitro + killed comps + filmed a part + droped his own dope ass website + world record… lol. superman status.
December 17th, 2011 at 4:50 pm
hey french rule, WHY did cudot, abrate, cj, soshiro, etc, NOT send edits? that’s the question! these guys were qualified, maybe they were too lazy? it’s their own fault you dumbass.
December 17th, 2011 at 5:02 pm
why is anyone on that “panel” a judge? and why does vinny have NILS in 1st? if that’s the case, this contest and these judges lose mad respect.
December 17th, 2011 at 5:07 pm
@french rule, make it happen!
skaters who was able to enter only had 1 month to send an entry ; most skaters who entered sent footage from section of upcoming dvd/profiles.
December 17th, 2011 at 5:12 pm
Aragons edit is fucking embarrassing. He does a few cool tricks but looks like a fucking goon. Its edited all choppy and shit. I would be seriously embarrassed to show a non roller. Dearden Is just a piece of shit. he has no credibility and in no way should be part of this. I would like to punch him in the throat next time I see him. Fuck rampworks!
December 17th, 2011 at 5:33 pm
“@french rule, make it happen!
skaters who was able to enter only had 1 month to send an entry ; most skaters who entered sent footage from section of upcoming dvd/profiles.”
Thing is, it’s winter in Europe and Japan. Nils Jansons is from Latvia, former Soviet state, and do you have any idea what the weather is like there at the moment? Jacob Juul is from Denmark and even if it had new street footage you can see how cold it is. Now of course Californian rollerbladers had a major benefit from this, having a better climate and a scene closely knit with the organizers and the judges.
My opinion is 1. The selection was biased and doesn’t reflect the best skaters in the world, since Cudot and CJ Wellsmore didn’t participate. 2. The competition started in the middle of the winter giving non-californian and especially Japanese and European skaters a clear disadvantage. 3. The judges, except for Vinny Minton, were biased. 4. The fan favorite received less money than he deserved.
December 17th, 2011 at 5:40 pm

“Vinny Minton was the only judge with integrity and good judging”

I think most of us agree.
December 17th, 2011 at 5:41 pm
@ Valo fashion models : Exactly what I was thinking.
…valo needs to stop right now with their fucking PRIME DEALS. DIE, Valo, DIE!
December 17th, 2011 at 5:45 pm
hahaha I love how you idioits are saying vinny is the only unbiased judge because he voted Nils first .hats is such bullshit, you would be complaining if he had broskow first.
December 17th, 2011 at 5:47 pm
For all you clueless morons out there
FAN FAVORITE = WHO YOU GUYS WANT TO BE THE WINNER
ACTUAL WINNER = WHO ACTUALLY DID THE HARDEST TRICKS(hard meaning difficulty not scary for posers who think drop rails are hard)
December 17th, 2011 at 5:48 pm
Oh yeah my grandmother can easily do 360 top acid on a 7 stair rail yup , Shes totally sucks at blading!
December 17th, 2011 at 6:03 pm
Here’s what it comes down to you fucking fan boys. The best edit, with the hardest tricks, won.
As for the whole “Nils fucking rules, why didn’t Nils win, blah blah blah”, I have a huge amount of respect for him, he killed it and blew my expectations away. That being said, his edit was not up to par with Broskow or Bailey or any of the “Valo Hipsters”. I don’t ride Valos, but I’m a smart enough skater to know hard tricks when i see them. Broskow could have easily done every trick in Nils section, you all hate to admit it, but they were mostly basic tricks, just done on large obstacles. Is rollerblading really getting stupid enough that bigger automatically equals better?
Nils could maybe do some of the tricks in Broskow’s part, but not a majority of them, especially not with his style. People don’t seem to realize that Broskow can do every single trick, both ways, and he makes it look so easy that apparently even rollerbladers can’t understand how hard the tricks are that he’s doing. Actually watch some edits and pay attention to what the guys are doing, not how big the obstacle is. Until you can do that, go buy a fucking dirt bike, where bigger actually is better.
December 17th, 2011 at 6:22 pm
Broskow is NUMBER 2 in the WORLD now. what a joke
December 17th, 2011 at 6:27 pm
In fact it’s pretty convenient. WRS rankings as of right now:
1 Brian Aragon 17500
2 Alex Broskow 15200
3 Chris Haffey 14000
4 Julien Cudot 13400
5 Roman Abrate 13000
6 Romain Godenaire 12500
7 Erik Bailey 11400
8 Mathias Silhan 10500
9 Dave Lang 9600
10 Nils Jansons 9600
Aw, isn’t that a happy ending? USA goes 1, 2, 3.
December 17th, 2011 at 7:22 pm
Mike Dempsey actually voted Sean Kelso #2…haha…what a joke. SK’s section sucked, he skated obstacles that a 12 year old skateboarder skates. Dempsey would suck SK’s balls but he doesn’t have any.
December 17th, 2011 at 7:31 pm
WRS has lost all credibility. They can push Aragon, Broski and Haffey all they want. NILS kicked their ass, and Cudot and CJ are the best skaters in the world.
December 17th, 2011 at 7:35 pm
^ haha luckily YOU have NO credibility so that means your opinion don’t affect the real world. You can cry all you want but you haven’t proven anything to anyone.
December 17th, 2011 at 7:46 pm
Nils won the fan vote by a landslide….looks like the biased appointed “judges” are out of touch with the majority of skaters.
WRS is obviously afraid of Cudot. They didn’t let him participate in the WRS finals last year, and this year they avoid a competition entirely, and come up with this bogus edit battle to ensure U.S. victory.
December 17th, 2011 at 8:05 pm
“judges votes are biased”
Of course judges vote in favor of their friends & relations. It’s always like that in any contest.
Take Johan Berthonneau. He is french, working in the crew organising the Fise contest serie. Guess who is in the top 3? Mathias Silhan. Mathias entry was great, but surely not deserves a third place.
Nils Jansons really deserved that fan #1 place. Nils barely know those judges and yet he succeed to have a third place in final judges votes.
December 17th, 2011 at 8:09 pm
I’ll take judging over the “fan favorite” when you have it corrupted by things like dutch newspapers telling non-skaters to go to the site and blindly vote for dutch skaters.
Felt like how the voting at times broke down into a petty nationalistic us vs. them mentality discredited the results.
December 17th, 2011 at 8:11 pm
Good point. Nils did really good with overall third place and not traveling that much this summer to skate.
December 17th, 2011 at 8:17 pm
Did I say just say… looks like the biased appointed “judges” are out of touch with the majority of skaters.” ? I’m actually sorry about that considering the “majority” of people who voted for me & Nils know nothing about skating. I forgot about how I used my newspapers influence to get votes for me. Let me rephrase that:
…looks like the biased appointed “judges” are out of touch with the majority of dutchmen and women.
December 17th, 2011 at 8:17 pm
That aside, I think the variation among the judges’ orders shows how incredibly subjective raking skaters can be. There really is no right or wrong Everyone skated at a high level.
None of the judges completely agreed with one another, nor did any one of them completely agree with the overall results. So of course you will not agree either.
Everyone has different preferences and will have a different opinion; its ridiculous to expect otherwise. To claim the judging must have been part of some conspiracy just because it varies from how you would have judged it is equally ridiculous.
December 17th, 2011 at 8:18 pm
wow the replies in here are fuckin stupid as fuck

This is a ranking by the most views:

Considered that despite its tiny blader population Latvia was the country with the second most visits the top place should be taken with a grain of salt. On the other hand Latvia was only 5th in most played. So obviously many visitors didn’t even bother watching the edits and went straight to voting. The same can be applied to Netherlands.

1. United States
2. Latvia
3. Netherlands
4. France
5. United Kingdom

December 17th, 2011 at 9:28 pm
“Of course judges vote in favor of their friends & relations. It’s always like that in any contest. ”
SO TRUE. Anywhere you go is like that. It ain´t about being good. Just go out there and skate, cause even if you destroy everything, depending on the contest, you will not be top 5. As 50 cent would say: “It is what it is man”
December 17th, 2011 at 9:43 pm

Now all of us know that WRS is a joke ! never come again to a WRS event like winterclash, chaz invit or fise, and all of u peoples who like rollerblading and all of u who like true things have to do the same !
We have to boycott WRS for what they’re doing to rollerblading..

December 17th, 2011 at 11:49 pm
There’s no way to ever eliminate bias from judging, it’s part of anything. One of the criteria for judging was likability so it’s not like they’re trying to hide it, being a good likable dude is part of being a professional athlete. Which is why only one Kelso brother entered this comp…
December 17th, 2011 at 11:50 pm
Why did WRS pick 6 “amateur” judges to judge the Pro World Championships? A guy like Mike Dempsey has SK’s dick stuck in his throat, which is why he picked SK second. You need Legends to judge a comp like this, not a bunch of lemmings who dress like their pro idols and spout whatever is written on the Valo webpage.
Nils killed this comp. He is the champ for 2011.
December 17th, 2011 at 11:51 pm
This was cool but there needs to be a real competition. Skaters can be good enough to lace a trick on film after a few tries, but real talent is when they can do it consistently in a competition setting.
December 18th, 2011 at 12:15 am
WRS does not own or run or have anything to do with Winterclash, FISE, Chaz Invite, & every other contest out there. WRS simply gives “points” for the placer of those evnts. There are in fact NO actual WRS events.
So boycotting those contest that have been in existence for 5 – 10+ years is DUMB & RIDICULOUS.
December 18th, 2011 at 12:19 am
@ fake terror: Lol you clown, you’re using my username? I don’t see the point though, this isn’t an account, anyone can just change their username and post the same shit, and everyone here is annonymous and with no reputation lol. Idiot. Though, if you gonna copy it, at least be a dick to everyone and troll hard.
December 18th, 2011 at 12:20 am
@ Amateur judges: Vinny minton is not amateur you idiot lol, how long you been skating for? 2 years?
December 18th, 2011 at 12:21 am
^^^^
I doubt that Vinny Minton is a lemming or dresses like anyone in this competition. Do you know who he is? He repped salomon hard for a LONG time. Has had a few pro model skates/frames/wheels. Amateur? BAHAHAHA!! Go find his section from fruitbooter.
December 18th, 2011 at 12:31 am
Rollerblading obviously does not work as a democracy. This sort of almighty judging elite telling you who’s the best in this ish is nothing to base your opinion on.
Nils so fucking much won.

Nils won the fan vote, what do you mean you didn’t get what you want?
December 18th, 2011 at 12:53 am
Boycott?? what are you dumb? WRS doesn’t run or own Winterclash, FISE or any contest we all love going to for 5 – 10+ years. There is in fact NO actual WRS contests. WRS is just organization who look at other contest placings, give points, and have ranking on there website.

good point about the amateur judges. Vinny is the only guy I ever heard of. I would have expected Louie Zamora, Dustin Latimer, Arlo, Murda, etc. Guys who have retired and know their shit, not a bunch of ams.
December 18th, 2011 at 1:27 am
love the idea of renaming WRS the ARS since it is just a promotion tool for American skate companies. It would be great if The Conference could organize a World event. They have the best skate (carbons) and the best skater (cudot) on the planet. Let the Americans continue to idolize shit skating like Broskow and Kelso, while the rest of the world kills shit. Would love to see a real comp with the best American skaters against the best skaters in the world, and an INDEPENDENT group of experienced judges.
December 18th, 2011 at 1:30 am
man,you guys whine A LOT.you do realize the tears you are all shedding over this aren’t going to change the standings, right?waaa the judging was biased.waaaa my favorite skater didn’t win.dry your eyes, put on your skates, and get as far away from your computers as possible.christ.
December 18th, 2011 at 1:32 am
I agree with Terror, WRS is a joke. Kato runs it with other U.S. skate company owners, which is why they were afraid to compete against Cudot and CJ and Nils. The edit idea backfired cause Nils made their pros look silly. WRS fail
December 18th, 2011 at 2:06 am
@ UK: You are an idiot if you think cudot is the best skater in the world, no wonder you are from the UK. You can argue cudot is the best in skatepark right now, or it could be between CJ and Cudot. But cudot ain’t shit in street. So claiming him the best skater in the world is retarded.
December 18th, 2011 at 3:25 am
We need some real association, like the surfers does in the wct. With clear vote system, both in video contests and physical contests. This type of result show how corrupted is the system. But i agree with Brian Aragon in first place. The tricks that he laced are fucking hard level, consistency, control and style, no anyone can disagree with this. Nils is the next name, he does great tricks in huge spots, but Aragon still one level up. Miss CJ, Fabio Enes, Julien Cudot, Steph Alfano, Jon Jon Bolino…
Congratulations for all skatesr, and for some Judges, specialy Vinny, you do a great Job.

Great competition, fair judging. Fans had their input as well. All in all its a win win and a nice step in the right direction for rollerblading.
December 18th, 2011 at 4:11 am
i enjoyed the contest, it was fun and also interesting.
i was not desperate to win and i am suprised it happend this year but thats the way things are, so much hating on these forums nowadays. peace
December 18th, 2011 at 5:02 am
JUST LIKE VOTING FOR THE PRES. POPULAR VOTE DONT MEAN SHIT!!!!!!!!
December 18th, 2011 at 6:19 am
The people who have expressed their anger at this are not “haters”…
It’s a very insular attitude to label criticism as “hating”, instead of trying to understand or at least discuss the viewpoint.
The majority of people here seem to feel their opinion was completely devalued in favour of an arbitrary judging system.
Considering it’s the majority that keep rollerblading going it would be ridiculous to ignore this criticism.
December 18th, 2011 at 7:14 am
lol at Terror. You’ve obviosuly never seen Cudot skate street, he’s a beast. But agree with you, he is the best park skater also. Too bad wrs was afraid to hold a competition this year, but glad to see Nils won the edit comp.
December 18th, 2011 at 7:20 am
Aragon won the fixed judging edit battle, and he dominated the X-Games Mini. Plus, he was first in the parking lot comp in California that Nick Wood built. This certainly qualifies as skater of the year. He also avoided appearing in any JBah/Dre edits to keep his image in tact.
December 18th, 2011 at 7:23 am
now that the edit battle is over, I hope rollernews brings us some CK or JBah edits this week, or maybe some Valo skaters wearing vests edits, so we have something to bitch about.
December 18th, 2011 at 9:42 am
stop moaning about everything that happens in rollerblading, if you dont like what happens, you can easily stop watching edits, or even skating. The industry is not that big, so money cant just be made for them to have either. Its not like skateboarding for example (inb4 omg skateboarder faggot, i actually blade)
Just accept what happens, happens. They were trying something new, and yeah, some people didnt like it, but some people did, like myself.
So if you think you could make a better comp and get all the best pros to compete, then go for it. Otherwise, go skate.
December 18th, 2011 at 11:10 am
alex brosckow ? wtf? nils jansons is the best
December 18th, 2011 at 11:32 am
fuck industries, fuck judges !
Stupid .. What for u doing fan contest if them u put the vootes like they wont :S
What a waste of time
December 18th, 2011 at 11:53 am
is rollerblading empty of financial ressources :(, i hope a day if i’m rich enough i could throw some money in the game.
I mean that s like we end the year, and we have watched tons of ads on rn and other interweb, that’s like the top skaters get ta bonus from the industry.
in one hand, i think adding one zero on all the prize pool could be really nice, especially to those skatesr investing themselve + their bodies to make us dreaming.
in another hand it would change the game, and becomes more risky, cause skaters are going to: throw the level bar at the maximum/ hurt themselve trying to accomplish the best to be at the top.

Congratulations on making this something worth arguing on internet about!
Nils had à lot of fans, as do Alex, Sven and Chris. This is à very good thing. Who ended up in what spot really doesnt matter all that much. This was just good exposure for rollerblading in general. The only thing Whats is wrong in my opinion is that WRS doesnt have it’s own event. But it’s succes is piggybacked off Core Events like Bittercold, Winterclash and chaz’s in invite. Next year people might Be more prepared. I helped out with Svens part, and these clips were all leftpvers and old footage. All The really good footage is to important for him to just give away to benefit The wrs.
December 18th, 2011 at 5:33 pm
the edit competition made Nils a star. 5 years from now, he will be dominating every rollerblade competition with Julien.
December 18th, 2011 at 10:16 pm
for once i actually dont think the judging was bias and i think the outcome was fair, however..
“Production value. Production value includes the filming, lighting, audio, music and editing of the video.”
since when was a competition based on a skaters skill be judged by the camera they can afford.. or have anything to do with the videographer.
December 19th, 2011 at 12:45 am
As soon as i saw the results i thought ‘hundred’s of hate comments, surely’
scrolled down..
pure hate…
a couple of normal reasonable people..
then more hate..
pointless irrelevant comment…
more hate…
normal comment
hate…
You all really could do with accepting that this is reality and this is how the scores panned out, deal with it or go out and make your own world rolling series and do it better…
knobheads.

^ Agreed, fucking bogus criteria.
December 19th, 2011 at 5:18 am
Please replace these biased judges, except for vinny
December 19th, 2011 at 6:57 am
Nils Jansen put out a sick sick edit. But there is no way in all hell that the tricks were as challenging as Broskow or Aragon’s. Broskow did Nils’ shit in 2004. And he’s better now than he was then. So let’s get real. 3rd place is reasonable for Nils.
December 19th, 2011 at 7:39 am
@ Lee, exactly Broskow WAS doing stuff like that in 1984,but now he’s a washed up pussy who skates small shit cause he’s afraid of getting hurt, or is so burnt out he physically can’t do those tricks anymore. Which is why Nils won. The competition was about now, not 1984.

Hmmm I thought everyone did very well. The real SHOCKER is the lack of views Nick Wood gathered. All bladers involved are sick dudes.
