You all do realize that Broskow 5′d out of an AO wallride in Charging, right? That being said, Aragon did do some amazing stuff. That tru fish was deadly, not to even mention how impossible that disaster topsoul was, that wall is over head high. Hopefully he wins the “fan” vote, although I’m sure that Nils will beat him in the next round simply thanks to his nationality and the lack of intelligence and dignity that it takes for the average person to vote for the better skater.

But you have to take into consideration that Aragon’s last years edit had tricks from the GC DvD in it since, at that time, they were still “unused clips”. This year he just came out with a strong, 3,5 minute long seciton in COTF. So he couldnt use any of those tricks, wonder how he even came up with these. amazing.

kinda dissapointed by this years WRS.
i remember being blown away with like every edit last year, but this year it looks like people arent even trying.
lomax:2 backsides in one edit? where did all the darkside tru toppornstars go? and all his super tech stuff.
edwin: because i know this guy and see him skate alot, i know he can do better that this. last rick: a 360 from a 7 stair followed by.. a topsoul? come on.
i still think david sizemore’s and julien cudot’s edits are the best untill now.

I really like Aragon’s section. The one problem with this edit is that the angles almost always are deceiving in bad way. 0.26 – You can’t see how high and long the rail is. 0.30 You can’t see how big that inspin 540 is 0.37 can’t see how high the rail is . Last shot could’ve captured the greatness of trick in a more adequate way I think. But in all other regards the production value was very high, and we can only hope Juul and Cudot make their friends buy a real camera and follow the example of their opponents.
I think this section is great. Best style in the whole contest, shows variety, and the last trick is bonkers. Couldn’t be more satisfied. I’m pretty sure he’ll meet Nils in the finals.

I’m not generally a fan of Aragon edit but I think it slightly out did Franky’s. Really the last trick and the wall ride 540 out were what put him over because overall, it wasn’t that exciting of an edit. Jeph edit is also not great, but holy shit did Lomax fall short. He must have filmed that in like 10 minutes on a lunch break or something because it was actually pretty pitiful, not only for a skater of his caliber but just over all I see regular cats skate better.
I can’t believe the trash talk about Nils edit when it easily outdid every edit in the bracket. Nils or Cudot for sure will get this.

See the thing is that Brian could do every single one of the tricks that Cudot did in his edit, and has, years ago. He moved on to progress his skating. Guys THIS IS JUST THE FAN VOTING ROUND. The real judges will square out what skating is better or not later on. The fan voting is just what it is, whoever can get the most votes wins, regardless of whether the voters give a crap about blading or not.
You can’t “cheat” in a fan voting contest round, which this is. There are only requirements for the sections not the voters, and their shouldn’t be any. Just like American Idol and X Factor bullshit, whoever gets the most support SHOULD win “fan voting”.
If bladers where smarter this so called USA/France beef would simply be a highly calculated ploy akin to the fake beefs between west coast/east coast rappers that helped market Gangsta rap sooo well in the late 90s. Start all this drama so outsiders, or the less interested, are all of a sudden compelled to chime in.
Actually these arguments have all been just an inside joke between French and USA skaters to get more people to vote for a “rollerblading” contest because “it helps your country” wink wink hahaha. What’s funny is you are all falling for it. There isn’t a real argument this is just the best way to market blading right now, straight up rap battle style =) =)

This is the problem with rollerblading and why it will die very soon. People like you that would rather see an edit of someone having fun skating versus an edit of truly impressive abilities. Well guess what? The world doesn’t care to watch people having fun, they want to see some crazy stunts that look hard so they can be impressed. Without attracting more people into the sport and bringing more money in, it will die because companies will not be able to survive off of a few sales a year.
I can’t stand people like you. I love rollerblading and have for over half of my life.
