Sick!!
but i think sizemore’s 540 farside ao soul is sicker than 540 true makio…
but i guess aragon was the more consistent skater!
also nice to see edwin wiering in the edit… being as im being dutch :P
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:42 pm
WOW!~!! the quality and the TRICKS!!! wow!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:51 pm
Sick, you mean I get to be the first to say that was fucking rad? Fucking RAD.
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:54 pm
Woops, nope. Beaten by fifteen minutes. Spent too long watchin half the tricks two or three times :)
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:58 pm
please kill abrate
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:05 pm
bit too dramatic, but very well done
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:05 pm
would expect more from Montre …
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:09 pm
aragon is back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:15 pm
ARAGONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN !!!!!!!!!!!! SO SICKKK
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:23 pm
me Says:
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:09 pm
aragon is back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i never knew he went any where haha… sick shit
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:48 pm
that was bloody great but romain abrate is a twat
November 3rd, 2009 at 3:56 pm
Aragon clearly deserved to win that from the footage shown here. Granted I wasn’t there, which makes a huge difference, but Broskow was a little underwhelming? And Stockwell underappreciated as usual.
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:10 pm
roman abrate was sick! maybe i’ve watched the same american videos too many times, but it was nice to see the international skaters in person, with different tricks and nice styles, i really liked watching roman abrate, steven swain, edwin wieringh, yuto goto, dominick wagner, romain godenaire, stephane alfano, and for the americans, wake shepman!
seeing fresh faces is part of what makes skating interesting, although the usual suspects definitely went to work
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:38 pm
stockwell was pretty awsum as well… sooo fluid it aint funny… awsum comp…
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:40 pm
1. Sizemore
2. Aragon
3. Alfano
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:51 pm
good tricks, but man, i expected so much more from that edit.
whats up with that jay-z talking? it didn’t have a contest atmosphere at all.
way too dramatic for a skate edit, the filming wasn’t that good either.
anyways props to the skaters, the level of blading was intense!
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:58 pm
jesus Brazil you’re so fucking wack.
November 3rd, 2009 at 5:16 pm
the dude who edited this thinks hes the shit i swear
November 3rd, 2009 at 5:44 pm
Contest looked amazing… These Razor edits are consistantly overly dramatic and borderline rediculous. Its also a shame that dudes who skate complete LINES in a comp like Stockwell get overlooked by Spin-to-win on a box. Its boring; contests ending up at a box & everyone chucks themselves in the general direction of an object and grinds for .025 seconds. Its cheese.
November 3rd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
why was alfano alowed to enter? he is the worst roll model for rollerblading.
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:05 pm
Sick edit. no dramatic just epic xD.
Stockwell stylish man and aragon really deserve.
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:11 pm
From this edit Aragon was very consistent and solid, but really how many times is he going to do 540 true top acid to win. It’s a great trick, no one else is doing it, but I think Sizemore’s 540 darkside true top soul was better. And Stockwell jesus christ. So underrated in terms of what he is doing with speed, carving, etc.
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:17 pm
having seen edwin wieringh skate in person and doing sicker tricks then aragons 540 tta but what eva its RZRs and aragon skated consistant by seeing this edit
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:18 pm
Nice edit, but the music/ Jay- Z quotes were a bit over the top.
Sick comp though. 540 tru makio is ridiculous! Glad to see Aragon pushing things again. Would liked to have seen more CJ Wellsmore though.
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:42 pm
Why you born in this world ?
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:52 pm
it may be a little too much “jay-z bling bling” drama… but all in all, for the outsider eye, brazil might do the right thing. maybe we need a bit of this glam thing to be attractive to outsiders. dunno. Skating was crazy… and yeah, aragon always wins with the 540tta … but on the other hand.. its hard to beat that trick
November 3rd, 2009 at 6:59 pm
GODENAIRE UGLY STYLE…his skates like a fuckin monkey
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:01 pm
and why alfano is skating? is he allowed to skate the wrs? he is a dumbass
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:08 pm
what the fuck is up with that jay z shit?? are you fucking kidding?
im pretty sure aragons not down with that kinda shit..at least jay z is better than lil wayne or kanye west but still that shits fucking gay..your trying to relate rollerblading to rap?? skating actually requires some form of talent
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:09 pm
Skater of the Year.
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:09 pm
yeah for sure that shit is whack as fuck
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:10 pm
fucking amazing tricks and lines!
but what the hell is that with jay z talking? please please stop those ridiculous stupid bling bling edits!! absurd…
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:38 pm
fruit bootin fags
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:45 pm
What i dont understand is this fucking skatepark they used for the world finals
80% of the tricks where done on stuff that dont even belong to the skatepark
they rather had to make something like they do in asia
thats my conclusion!
November 3rd, 2009 at 7:49 pm
this dudes edits are DUST!!!!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:01 pm
Best trick I saw was Frankies 5 disaster soyale, sooo much steez… Stockwell obviously would crush everyone in a line contest:) Edit would be much better without someone who has nothing to do with rollerblading running their mouth:( Congrats to you Brian!
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:11 pm
what is that guy wearing on the right at 4:54 ?!?!!? that creeped me out.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:26 pm
“How long can Aragon keep doing 5 true top acid to win????”
Until someone can do something better you complete cock.
This edit shows who the best rollerblader in the world is . Anyone who thinks that aragon couldnt flow around the skatepark as well as say Stockwell is just wrong. In fact all of the blokes in this edit are all of such a high standard that they would all flow around a park in a way that would make ur jaw drop
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:56 pm
Aragon couldn’t touch Stockwell on fakie carves.
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:28 pm
All of them are extremely good, and I want one think when I see that, just go skating !!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:31 pm
yea we all could see the perfect aragon lines in LG Action sports 2008 inline championships :D . This is ridiculous in what bowl park the competition took place. And come on who the f comes to such a high rank competition and does “spin to win” 540 grinds to win.
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Anyone who says Sizemore deserved to win that is completely retarded.. not only did aragon throw bigger tricks but he also span 540 BOTH ways in to a trick.. did anyone else in the entire comp do that?.. dont think so!.. he is by far the most talented and technical rollerblader in the world..
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:38 pm
and portas is right about the park thing.. you dont get ranked top 10 in world in a park competition if you cant flow park.. stockwell just chooses to milk carving more than anyone instead of trying to push limits of park skating, whatever floats ure boat..
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:54 pm
What the fuck was that 540 that arragon did. It was like that Tim Ward spins, but a 540. I think the concrete put a lot of skater at a disadvantage. They did not have any perfect woodward ramps. The park looks like it was mad by a skateboarder or the city and county. hahah. Concrete is a lot slower then wood too, i wonder if that was a big factor. On Oahu we only have concrete public parks and one wood park. I can notice the a big differance in speed and control when it comes to wood. Concrete is unforgivable.
All in all it looked fun and i wish i could have made it off this rock and to the comp.
Aloha
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:56 pm
that 540 true topacid was perfection, how can you make it so clean? fuck!
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:56 pm
dammmmmmmmmmmmmmm that was major dope shit dooooooo!!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:04 pm
A.Williams says to aragon ” you aint gonna win that shit,.” aragon replys “its money in the bank”
haha good shit dog
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:24 pm
Haha, good shit. B. Aragon delivers if he has too. He’s perfection.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:28 pm
Damn, awesome contest, looked really organized. There wasn’t people standing all over the park and blocking half the obstacles like in most modern competitions.
I’m sure this edit could have gone on for another 20 minutes with edit worthy footage. From the looks of it Aragon definitely deserved the win. As I’ve been hearing it seemed like Sizemore did get robbed. Not that I’m a Sizemore fanboy, but he probably did 3 out of the top 5 best tricks in the edit, Broskow and Wellsmore beating him is a joke.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:33 pm
godenaire sucks, buy a style homie
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:07 pm
Man 2 mins or crap out of 8 isnt good. Why would show all this skating from everyone and 2 tricks from cj wellsmore he has been in 3 comps and got 2wins and a second he must have done some sick tricks to comp second in a line up like that
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:12 pm
forme best tricks i saw…..rockt bio – b. aragon(killer) and jeff stockweels crazy im looking this way spining the other fish brain was of the hook/chain/hizzle hahahahaha puerto rico en la casa
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:19 pm
Get off Jay Z’s balls Brazillionaire.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:23 pm
Virtually no footage of second place CJ Wellsmore. I want to see another edit of this contest, and this time with more footage of this up and comer.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:35 pm
“omg lets bitch about the music” you bunch of homos
the wrs did it right and aragon won.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:36 pm
Congratulation to the winner…and for the who not win try again next time….hope to see more International participate in Final.
November 4th, 2009 at 1:29 am
WOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GONNA HATE!!!!!!AMAZING EDIT..AMAZING TRICKS..AMAZING MUSIC……EMOS LEAVE ROLLING 4EVER!!!!!!
November 4th, 2009 at 1:58 am
WHERE DA FUCK IS SEEJAYY WELLSMORE???? so he got second place doing only 2 tricks? what coverage edit…
November 4th, 2009 at 2:19 am
Uhh where is the footage of the 2nd place winner? Don’t get me wrong, the edit was good, but why the fuck is there more footage of people who didn’t even PLACE than CJ?
November 4th, 2009 at 2:31 am
dramatic…
frankie’s 540 soyale was sooo clean.
stockwell (froggy) lol…lines for days
wellsmore is a beast
Aragon is a fucking robot i swear…
those aragon 3′s look damn nice..kinda looks like
they improved the soulplate system
and did anyone else see that wierd green guy halfway thru?
all in all an edit i can watch more than once.
the end.
November 4th, 2009 at 3:11 am
Such a nice edit!
November 4th, 2009 at 3:11 am
aragon:
killed the bowl
launch hurricane top soul the huge grind box
then 450 bc roy
switch 450 bc roy
540 tru top soy
540 ao porn
540 tru porn
540 tru top acid
540 tru makio
skated the ledges in the park
he merked shit it was sooo much fun to watch
I think the results are fine but stockwell or sizemore most deff should have gotten 3rd
It was a great Halloween.
November 4th, 2009 at 3:19 am
GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT
! ! ! ! C J W E L L S M O R E ! ! ! !
November 4th, 2009 at 3:21 am
I enjoyed the edit. The stock footage and jay-z speach was cool. I think it was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. That’s how I interpreted it anyway.
Also would love to see all of CJ’s skating. Looks really fun when CJ skates.
The filming may have been a bid sketchy, but that is only because it had to be zoomed in. Comp filming is like that.
peace.
November 4th, 2009 at 3:42 am
I think Brazil is an amazing editor he’s had some incredible work and The razor video in my opinion will be no exception. On top of that contest filming is hard b/c you can end up with an edit of all the same angles if your not carefull so you have to walk around and change angles and yes you miss stuff changing angles so dont hate on Brazil missing some of the action and for choosing a song or artist you don’t like. Regardless of who got what place these are the top rollerbladers in the industry so forget what the final results are, these guys represent the industry well and we should be glad to have these people represent it. Just a thought
November 4th, 2009 at 4:05 am
Broskow’s tricks were pathetic in the finals. I wish judges would stop placing him in every comp for his name. Maybe he’d take a competition seriously if he realized he’d actually have to put some effort into skating to place like everyone else. How did he beat Sizemore, or anyone in the finals for that matter? Must be good at blowjobs.
November 4th, 2009 at 4:51 am
WoW.
Aragonnnnn.
DESTROYEDDD IT.
540 true makio w/ grab.
Likeee comeee on.
November 4th, 2009 at 4:52 am
EM yer a fuckin moron. you really think everything was caught on film and everyone will get all their tricks in this one little edit? YA STUPID FUCK
November 4th, 2009 at 4:58 am
The reason you don’t see more of CJ or Sizemore or others is this was a Razors edit. CJ doesn’t skate Razors. If this was a Valo edit, you’d see a lot of Broskow and Bailey, and nothing of Aragon, and everyone would be saying Broskow should have won (like Montreal). We’ll just have to wait for the Remz edit to see CJ.
Moral of the story – you can’t judge a comp by watching a biased edit.
November 4th, 2009 at 5:10 am
Aragon deserved it in my book fasho! The rest of the results seemed pretty accurate too!
Aragon is the worlds best competition blader fersure!
November 4th, 2009 at 6:02 am
Should see more of CJ. He will be better than everyone within a year or two.
November 4th, 2009 at 6:12 am
haffey shoulda won
November 4th, 2009 at 6:43 am
Just proves that Aragon is the best in the world. Haffey is a close second though. This WRS is great for rollerblading and hopefully continues to be a success and benchmark for our sport.
November 4th, 2009 at 7:01 am
Why the fuck Do all you stupid Kids go on here and hate on these pros. i wanna see u go out there and do half of the shit that do. Fuckin seriously! why do u care soo much about this. its not like your words are gonna change what happens!
November 4th, 2009 at 7:54 am
great coverage! the jay-z comentary was lame as hell though.
November 4th, 2009 at 8:08 am
congrats to the people who run the wrs for being badasses and turning rollerblading into a profession and not just random ass competitions that lead to no where
November 4th, 2009 at 8:27 am
Really nice edit, great quality. Was hoping for more clips of CJ wellsmore though…..
November 4th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
“Simon Says:
November 3rd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
why was alfano alowed to enter? he is the worst roll model for rollerblading.”
…but certainely one of the best skater.
November 4th, 2009 at 3:28 pm
3:59 is sick 540 soyale by Franky Morales
November 4th, 2009 at 5:13 pm
“biased edits” do you know that remz and razors are owned by the same person??? STFUYDF
November 4th, 2009 at 6:01 pm
CJ didn’t skate that well in the comp, other than the tricks that were shown. i know, i was looking forward to seeing him skate but he just seemed off, i ended up watching other skaters instead, and then right after he landed that gap royale 540 to flat they ended the comp
and haffey got hurt and had to withdraw, didn’t even skate most of the finals, so why did he deserve 2nd? any clips you saw of him were from the prelims
franky got hurt too, didn’t do too much other than the one clip (again, from the prelims) and for you haters, stephane took a pretty bad knock to the head in the prelims
November 4th, 2009 at 6:11 pm
i agree with EM. i cant stand how broscow gets placed so high in the rankings every comp! i am not impressed with his skating compared to what other skaters in that comp were doing.
November 5th, 2009 at 12:20 am
Alfano is a great guy, don’t let one crazy moment form your opinion of him until you meet him.
As for that…so sick! Franky’s one clip was probably the best looking thing I’ve ever seen on skates, Aragon’s last trick was amazing, never seen that before…surprised Sizemore wasn’t second…
Oh yea, and agreed, whoever said about the “glam” thing being more attractive to outsiders than the kind of “true” blading scene that the Valo-Vibralux style crowd have – as much as I love that whole side to our scene, if I didn’t skate, I wouldn’t get it. People can relate to the bling, as misrepresentative as it is.
Who cares, really =) that was great.
November 5th, 2009 at 2:23 am
why is everyone always so stoked to see a jam session contest. They really dont show how good a roller is. Rollerblading needs to change its colors to help us grow. You can talk to any person out there and 90% will say the same thing. they do not want to see a jam format contest. they want to see fluid runs were they show the skater and have there heroes and underdogs. Look at all the sports out there from football to hockey. They have there heroes,Haters, and underdogs.
We need run contest formats also to get these spectators to come see and put money into out sport. As rollerbladers we have to STOP wanting to be underground and start thinking about our future. We have bittercold and barn burner that are perfect for jam session formats but with ail finals wrs finals and some of the bigger venues were we get more outside people to see what we do needs to be a RUN contest.
November 5th, 2009 at 4:58 am
Wow….I really agree with what this guy above me is saying. Its definitely something to think about for the future.
November 5th, 2009 at 1:12 pm
“Virtually no footage of second place CJ Wellsmore. I want to see another edit of this contest”
– X2 –
November 5th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
November 6th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
Pour Info, c’est un Poscast Razors… Donc on on devrait étre content qu’il montre tt les skaters, contrairement a Valo.
Le WRS ne paye pas Razors pour leur faire des edits non plus haha
November 18th, 2009 at 9:26 am
November 18th, 2009 at 2:50 pm
Great tricks, great style, now I understand the rankings a bit better.
Lame music tho
“ta race”, je comprends pas trop le sens de ton commentaire. Evidemment ce sont les grandes marques qui gèrent un truc pareil, et sans doute qu’il y a de la magouille derrière (pour les classements, etc.). Mais en même temps, qui d’autre que les marques peuvent organiser un truc comme ça ? Un organisme indépendant ? Dans l’absolu ce serait le mieux, mais où trouver l’argent…
