The Winterclash 2010 will be a step into a new direction for Rollerblading events and for Rollerblading itself. However, in order to take this step, your support is truly needed!
This year we will have less sponsors than expected. Thus, the financing of the Winterclash 2010 is getting a bit tricky right now and it looks like there will be a huge minus after the event. The worst case scenario is: There will be no future for the Winterclash after 2010!

and it’s a shame that there are only a few sponsors for such a big event and our industry seems totally dead right now.

Maybe a donations account should be opened. I’d chip in a few bucks…and at least a few others probably as well.
Its a great effort to organize all of this and Jojo shouldn’t end up loosing money…he should be able to go on vacation for a few weeks instead.
Did u guys also try gettin Red Bull on board? They’re usually up for this kind of stuff…plus u got Stefan backing u i guess…

winterclash team says “This means that only skaters in the international team of a boot company are allowed to compete in the pro category, collecting important points for the world ranking” why there are lot of riders who are not pro in a company but pro in the contest?

SUPPORTING 110% camon people its my first time to winterclash and judging by what we have read and seen it has taken ALOT of work to get sponsers and heap of effoft and passion and keep in mind that jo jo isnt doing this just for him self its all for us rollers to have the chance to have an awsum unforgetable time and like mentioned..’
where else would you meet all these pro’s and make so many new friends and have fuckin awsum time partying hard .. rollin and getting fresh look at whats up with all your favourite brands and get to see some fresh gear… pfff 35€ for 2 days of awsum fun and in the capital of germany where all the best clubs and awsum beer and food…

first of: im down to support so please dont get this following thing wrong.
Seriously Jojo, step up your game, youre doing this contest since ages in a way that is just not professional. no proper calculation ever as we see once again. in any other sport except for rollerblading youd be already blown out of the game.
for example: first time after 5 years that you actually have somebody to do your PR. what the heck? of course youre getting less sponsors than you expect when nobody knows about your stuff.
same goes for price money: it is never announced how much the winner of the earths biggest rollerblading competition acutally made. wtf?
event management is a proper business and you should act like that. if you have a baby like the winterclash then you should acting in a professional way. its great that the scene backs you, but in any other sport you`d be fucked.
this is not a hate post but just some honest words for inspiration. i do highly appreciate that jojo runs this contest, but it just has to be stepped up in professionality.

you know the thing is this industry is not even able to support this “unprofessional” form of the clash! the industry just doesnt get it that the WC is THE event in blading!
theres simply no event which can be compared and i dont care how much the americans dfend their bcsd now…its just not compareable to the clash in term of the gettogether factor of the clash…there were 48 DIFFERENT nations in 2008!!!there was almostat leastone blader from every country in the world where people blade….what else can the industry ask for to reach their customers directly???this should be the place to show all the new stuff, to held specials with the pros and whatever else can be done…but they just dont get it…the socalled prosdont get it…they should ALL skate at their best and interact with the crowd and especially the kids and not get drunk and just be with their other homiepros…thats their fuckin job…yeah i know a bad paid one but everyone needs to step their game up…especially this industry….its just sad that lil jojo has to beg for money when razors could easily payfor the whole event…but they just send their riders and thats it…sad sad industry….

guess the costs are insane. Rent for the location, building a complete skatepark, the afterclash, security etc. Guess thats hard to calculate if you depend on a weak, unprofessional rollerblading industry

if you had money problem just come to my country 1,5 EURO for each competition 2-3 days party film premiers girls. And we dont have proes boot companys. WHy should i pay money for bulid a park for pros??
Just put a flyer in next jear to here about which day and wich park will be the wc. I think it dont coast to much 1-2 hour computer work….
