no one from the U.S. in the Top 3. Europe is now the world capital of rollerblading. U.S. skaters went small and lost their sport. the best young skaters in the world are now in Europe, Australia and Japan.

  2. Anonymous Says:

haha Cudot and Nils will dominate comps for the next decade. American pros are all old and tapping 3-stair rails. CJ is the only one who can beat Cudot and Remz doesn’t support him because he’s in Australia.

  3. j.f Says:

GO FRANCE :D ( not even french just glad USA can’t brag )

  4. nazi Says:

i agree with u CJ is the only who can beat them .. but remz doesn’t support .. CJ should have his remz pro skate …

    whos agree .. ?

  5. killa Says:

i wana see utthem battle tony hawk

  6. Oskars Says:

Julien is seccond rider in history to take it 2 times :) Hope next year he and Aragon will battle for title 3 wins.

  7. DJ WREKSHOP Says:

FUCK ALL OF YA’LL WHO ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO MAKE THIS A US VS EUROPE/REST OF THE WORLD THING!!!!!

You people think Jeff Dalnas, Chris Haffey, Brian Aragon, Chris Farmer, Dave Lang and Montre are rolling around tapping 3 stair rails??? GTFO

There are good skaters everywhere!!! Who gives a fuck who is doing what and where they are doing it. Everyone should be supporting everyone on this website. All this complaining and arguing shit is getting REALLY OLD.
Grow the fuck up and start caring about more important shit in life.

  8. LVskater Says:

Yeah, so proud of Nils, he’s a big influence for me, glad i know him personally :)

  9. "'(-è_çà) Says:

f*ck weed ! waiting for the edits !!!

  10. fdfd Says:

Fuck the french, ugly no style skating. blehhh.
Nils Janssons should have won!!! He was by far the best all day!

And montre not in the finals?!! WTF?! Competitions getting gayer by the day. Who the hell is in the jury? Wouldnt be surprised if the jury is actually french…

Winterclash was great and Nils Jansons was awesome but the result is just staggering…

  11. werer Says:

Imo Edwin wieringh should have been 3rd. Nice style, nice tricks and use ALL of the park and not just the big quarter pipe.

  12. Ruudis Says:

    I`m european and europeans suck!

I really don`t get how is every second comment some USA vs Europe bullshit!

Super glad about Nils. Can`t wait for the edits.

  13. jamal Says:

NILS IS THA BEAST! ONE LOVE DUUUDE, IF YOU WANT SOME WEED I WILL GIVE IT TO YOU FOR FREE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

  14. Al@n Says:

Who care if u are European,US, Asian, Muslim, Jews, Christian and etc…the most important things is we involve with the same lifestyle and sports and that what we call rollerblading…rollerblading unite us as one…, so…love the blader s fuck the haters…let’s roll – Al@n

  15. Trill Bill Says:

Edwin is usually a beast too…Not that my opinion matters but he should do more edits and get that popularity going… I love watching him skate.

  16. Bellow Says:

Im English, I must prefer watching US or UK edits apposed to French, same old BCN edits etc.

  17. RAH Says:

Congrats to Julien,Nils and Roman ! they well deserves it..

2005 winner: Mattias Ogger ?!?.. i use to think the 1st winterclash winner was Adil Farhouni…

  18. cizzle Says:

Wow… the kids are taking over…

  19. marco Says:

i`m European and we are really sad that montre didn`t make it to the finals.
some things in the end of the competition didn`t went that good, such as that the American skaters didn`t really compete (broskow, o neil, eisler, etc.) and that some judging was wrong, but all in all it was one of the best winterclash of all times.
the job of the judges is hard, so we have to respect their decisions.
jojo and his team did a great job and we are all happy, to be a part of the clash!!!

    thank you jojo!!!

  20. Anonymous Says:

Frenchies + quarter pipe = the most boring skating I have ever seen.

Nils Jansons should have placed 1st, no doubt…

  21. Joe Says:

I’m American and I kind of get why. Broskow and most other pros almost never go big on competition, most certainly they didn’t do it this time on Winterclash either so it would be unfair to select them rather than skaters who actually make an effort. Brian Aragon isn’t like that though as we all know… but he was injuried.

  22. Anonymous Says:

Broskow is too old to compete anymore, just like many U.S.pros. Thats why U.S. trys to sell style on little obstacles cuz their pros are all washed up. time to let the young guns take over – they go hard and big all the time. and they are all in Europe.

  23. Anonymous Says:

CJ beat Cudot at Eisenbergs 2 years ago. They are 2 best in the world right now. I hoep they are both at Bitter Cold but remz sucks and wont fly CJ to U.S. CJ should get on USD.

  24. wild Says:

I think it`s not fair to compare old pros with french skaters. These ar totally different worlds. While old Pros explore new rollerblading fields, becouse they don`t feel like throwing themselves fullspeed spinning is for them anymore. At this time young guys pushes their limits. It`s fun to watch Sean Kelso, Broskow doing their creative tech stuff and it`s also fun to watch Cudot killing at competition. Just let dudes do what they do best and don`t complain about Broskow no more killing at competitions.

  25. Lee Says:

The euro trio who won this comp are amazing skaters, but they lack the refined style of long standing, older pros. In 5 years they’ll be the best for sure, but for now, they are still firmly behind the others in the up and coming category.

P.S. Despite the fact that they are crazy now, and do the “biggest” tricks, I bet you anything when they are fully established pros and into their mid to late twenties, they will tone it back, and stop risking so much. There will be a new set of “up and comers” and we will have the same argument all over again.

  26. Anonymous Says:

The only question after this comp is why Montre was not in the finals!? He would not have won but his qualifications run was amazing. Style, tech tricks and everything one level higher. And respect for shima for competing! And Richy Eisler for entertaining even so not competing!

  27. Anonymous Says:

Montre hasn’t skated hard since Bitter Cold 3 years ago. Cudot now rules rollerblading. Americans must step up their game.

MUST … WHAT IS IT WITH MUST DO YOU BOO FOREIGNERS IN SPORTS LIKE SOCCER MMA ETC. JESUS CHRIST. WOW CUDOT WAS BORN ON A DIFFERENT PIECE OF CRUST ON THIS PLANET THAN BROSKOW. WHO GIVES A SHIT. ROLLERBLADERS ARE TIED BY OUR LIFESTYLE NOT BY WHERE THEY COME FROM.

  29. bahwtfe Says:

Seriously? every trick your “young guns” are doing has already been done by the “old pros”. Are you fkin serious? give me aragon, haffey, and chaz sands over any of these styless dip sticks that skate now any day. if yo look like a flailing dbag doing a trick, your shouldnt do that trick. heh. the edit above was from what i’ve seen the lamest comp I have ever seen. Super Hick 07, now that was a comp.

  30. Anonymous Says:

the old pros need to retire and stop collecting money for shit skating. the young guns, especially the non-American young guns are so much better.

  31. Ralf Says:

Nils should have won imo. He was smashing the whole park for 3 days..

i enjoyed watching Maxime Genoud the most of all skaters,
this kid got great style, big tricks, fast lines, its insane.

  32. Anonymous Says:

Whens Andy Gilbert gonna get picked up by a proper sponsor?!?! RAZORS? Kid kills shit !

  33. U S A Says:

only 2 dudes in Europe who rip… Moreno and Hayden and they dont need to 720 to unity. Montres part in pariah, thats real blading! non of this competition shit means anything. real bladers know wtf time it is.

  34. Anonymous Says:

Moreno lol. Comepetiton skating is so much tougher than filming sections. Sections can fimed 50 times till the skater gets the trick right. In a comp, you either land it first time or lose.

  35. Suck It Says:

The obstacles this year looked a lot bigger and badder in the past so while the tricks themselves weren’t as stunty, they where all HUGE !

Don’t think most of the American skaters even showed up to this, so it’s hard to tell.

  36. thien23 Says:

Man you kids saying the “old pros” are washed up must not know what it’s like to skate without health insurance.

  37. Anonymous Says:

Maxime Genoud was amazing to watch, that guy has such a sick flow!
I think Nils should have won, he was skating like a boss lacing real hammers, 540 porn that big ass rail, and disaster ao porn and ao topsoul the flat bar rail, all cudot did was throw himself at that wall out of the quarter and do tricks we all know he has done a million times, thoguh is disaster 450 royale was sweet, i still htink nils destroyed the course, and he skated the park for 3 days killing it just for fun like.

  38. Russell Day Says:

looked amazing. hopefully i can make it out next year!

  39. Help out Says:

bahwtfe HAS the final word. Plus that Skateboarding park was so lame!
