Filmed over Friday and Saturday at the Winterclash 2012 and then edited in 6 hours back at home, here is my perspective on the competition at Area 51 Skatepark, Eindhoven mid-February.
There was some nasty bails, some huge tricks, massive transfers and a hell of alot of FUN!

Totally agree although Abrate Cudot(apart from the 540 roy) and Godenaire layed down hammers on the Quater box Nils Destroyed the course with so many tech tricks, Robbed for the 2nd year in a row. would be interesting to know who the judges are and what their actually judging as im sure they said it would be judged on Lines and how technical you are Not how big and dirty you can do

For the people who weren’t there… Cudot did 450 disaster royale from a bank to the handrail (…hardest trick of the entire contest…), 450 ally oop topporn an 630 topsoul on the quarter subbox clean!! and a lot of other tricks on the course like flatspin transefers etc. etc.. It’s a shame nobody filmed him…

I was there and yer that was sick but nils Deserved to win 540 ally porn and the most styled out Disarster True porn and true Sav. To be Honest its hard to judge between the 2 just as good as eqach other both dropped hammers, but being a street skater i would have given it to Nils

Everyone wants Nils to win couse he’s more stylish than cudot. I was there to and Cudot also did a lot of tricks and all clean! Nils just is lucky with his body proportions an all… No mather how clean Cudot skates it will never look as good. I think they skated equally well in the contest. Wouldn’t wanna be the judge…

Why no one is able to provide video footage of Julien? From the above comments it seems that Julien was a legit winner or second place. Ok we get it that french can be arrogant but that’s not the spirit that I like in rollerblading to “video-boycott” someone like that and it’s not the first time.
Do we have to wait for shitty french footages that finally are legit to be arrogant because of everyone else attitude against them?

I dislike the french skaters (godenaire, cudo etc), they are good park skaters but so damn arrogant… Nils Should have been 1st

Don´t argue if you weren´t there. Cudot is definitely not arrogant. Unlike a lot of other skaters he was skating for himself and because he loves that shit. Ive seen some skating because they wanted to be seen. Cudot is a cool dude, bullshit that all french are arrogant. Nils was killing it, Cudot was killing it, Godenaire was killing it, Abrate was killing it, Edwin was killing it. Who gives a fuck who wins. I loved it. Can´t wait till next year. One love!
