with the reviews of the deshi Carbons Valo and Co need to think about something new. New colors of a bulky and heavy skate will not help. The Carbon is the start for a revolution in technology, and others need to follow and step up. Just to copy the carbon will make them look bad so they need to come up with something new in the direction of the carbons.

I love valo!
April 6th, 2009 at 11:05 am
Its true pete, those Carbons are just unbeatable i have mine its just a pure control and freedom. Skates look nice.
April 6th, 2009 at 11:41 am
i bought that skate a year ago!
April 6th, 2009 at 11:47 am
i bought that a year ago too. back then it was called the TV.1 white though
April 6th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
Not my favourite Valos and not necessarily news worthy, however, people need to stop comparing everything to the Carbons, they are not for everyone.
April 6th, 2009 at 1:02 pm
thats a nice skate,
never skated valo’s but they look sick,
hopefully they will produce some a-mall-like colorways
April 6th, 2009 at 1:14 pm
Congrats Pete, you’ve just used the exact same words than EVERY Deshi ads, you’ve learned your lessons well.
But you didn’t realized the carbons are the ugliest things on earth, sorry no advertising will ever tell you this one, I figured I had to.
April 6th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
SAME!!
nuthin new..
juz diff colour and stuff..

Deshi Carbons: Positve thins about them, they are light and you have a lot of controll over your tricks, allso everything feels freakyng smooth. But allso there are some negative sides that made me worry when i tryed them, the cuffs are to low, and i think, its really easy to break a ankle when jumping stairs and huge gaps or drops. The other thing i all so would like to have would be a bigger shock absorber, but that would make the cuffs even feel lower.
So im not so sure about carbon being the perfect skate.
April 6th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
Nice, im liking the new TV.2 look.
April 6th, 2009 at 3:37 pm
u get used 2 the cuffs in the carbons really quick at first they feel lo but because the carbon is closed fitting and hard they hold your ankle really secure and feel really natural and they u feel perfect
April 6th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
wowowow ,what else valo?
April 6th, 2009 at 4:11 pm

Much RESPECT for J. JULIO and VALO brand.
You guys keep on hating… and I´m sure Julio will keep on working and rolling : )
April 6th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
valos are a bump how can u charge over 200 notes for a set of skates u could buy over 10 years ago all thats changed is it now has a skin jon julio needs a slap for rapping on the price
April 6th, 2009 at 7:03 pm
@ dyer,
I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration.
it’s not just a new skin on a 10-year-old skate.
I skate them and enjoy skating them.
BUT I have to agree:
-that a new colour is not a something that should be advertised as ‘NEWS’ and is getting a little old from Valo
-I also agree that they are expensive
-I also agree that they need to make them lighter
-they need to fix the toe cramp thing (as opposed to sawing off the front of your skate)
-and some half decent liners (all though I heard they are better now, feel free to verify this for me)
they do have a sick team though.
April 6th, 2009 at 7:36 pm
Ok everyone here is saying this isnt “news”.
when was rollernews ever about “news”?
If this is a news source for our sport then that sucks. this site is a playground for people to talk shit and watch little skate edits.
valos look sick. the ladies love a man in white shoes.
and new shoes is good “news”
April 6th, 2009 at 9:58 pm
they look pretty darn sick
i’ve always liked valo and these might actually make me buy sum
April 6th, 2009 at 10:53 pm
Nike dunks came out 20 years ago and you’d drop to your knees and suck a monster cock for the ‘new hot colorway’ if you had to.
April 6th, 2009 at 11:49 pm
For yous guys that are hatin on valo, some people don’t like change. They have a good team, they are making money and they have a good image. They dont really need to change anything. new styles every now and then is fine. Maybe a different skate line or something would be nice but for now they are doin all right. thats a hott skate. who cares if it has already been made before.
April 7th, 2009 at 1:10 am
you people dont understand that hes making cheeper valos so the people that cant afford ab.1’s or whatever can still skate valo.
but give him props at least hes not rollerblade and making cheeper skates that suck dick like the “Fury” skates.
April 7th, 2009 at 2:49 am
I don’t know why eveybody hates. They aren’t heavy at all, in fact the m12 boot IS the lighest hardboot on the market. And you guys cant say shit about the valo soul and skin making that much heavier, I dont see you guys making skates, until then quit bitchin. HOTNESS.
April 7th, 2009 at 9:43 am
…hm…I really hate the feel of valos since I´ve been sportin remz for years. But I gotta agree that they look awesome…
