heres my story about the franco valos if they get released....
the website will be visited and a pair in size 8 will be ordered no matter the price, distance or the fact ive never put valos on my feet. the helpful delivery man (or woman equal rights) will drive observing the speed limit obaying red lights and stop signs only so they stay safe in side the hold. finally they will arrive at my house where i will open the box take 1 huge breath and then mount them to my wall never to see concrete never to be groved or loved by a ledge ir rail. simply because these skates are a work of art and to be apriciated god i love Franco x x

oops... edit.. sorry.

my own thing?... I have never changed the clothes I wear, the tricks I do, the things I like, the music I listen to just because rollerblading said so. the rest of you followers......... well you are followers plain and simple. I have been doing "my own thing" all along. Sorry if I am not blinded by the propaganda in our sport. I guess not doing or agreeing with what everyone else does makes me a hater. I have met arlo many times, he is a chill guy, but he is trendy as hell.

I have been skating for over 15 years now. I have seen hundreds of "roller trends" come and go over the years (everything; duct tape at the bottom of your pants, huge knee pads, neon fat laces, trucker hats, spray painting your skates, overly huge clothes, super tight clothes, etc), I never bought into any of them. If not following the crowd and not agreeing with every trend in videos and mags makes me a "hater", I am glad to be a hater.

one, you are a hater, you are mad because you dont have an ounce of backbone to do your own thing. I think Arlo has done more for our sport behind the scenes than anyone has and really he's untouchable for that. not to mention he's a genuinely nice guy in person.

um... hoax2 he was wearing knee pads and huge jeans.(I have it, I also have dare2air, mooseknuckle, and the Hoax)
he helped to invent the senate ultrawides when big baggy clothes was in, and he wore them. He did help invent some of the first tricks and help start our sport but he is not a fashion pioneer. No one ever says Chris Edwards started the wearing ball shorts skating trend but he was the first skater to do so.

I love how people say "he is unique" or "he does his own thing" These people seem to think that there is no other life or trends outside rollerblading. Some rollerbladers are such fucking followers, always have to do what the other skaters do. God the whole hipster/emo trend spread through our sport like anthrax, are you trying to say arlo started it? If so you are an idiot.

My in rambling I am trying to say that the term "skate trend" is just fucking stupid. People from all over the planet skate, they all like different things out side of skating. They wear different clothes. The listen to different music. They do different tricks. In japan everyone has different clothing styles, everything from super tight emo, goth, breaker, redneck wife beater and jeans, all the way to gggg g-unit and they all skate together with out hate. There is no skate fashion trend in japan, only fashion trends from the rest of their lives. MTV starts most of the "skater trends" not individual skaters.

one (not the mag), have you ever even seen hoax 2? arlo sported tight jeans, a shaved head, and was one of the pioneers of many trends. senate? majestic 12s? i think it's hilarious that you call him a follower. shows how much you know about the sport. arlo has always been unique and done his own thing.

but speaking about the skate, i think the colors are cool, if you don't agree, well... at least it's original. arent you getting bored of the black white and gray skates that come out? i am.
