they are not JUST skinned M12s..the valo soul makes so much of a difference. and the liners in every skate so far are different. and man shut up every skate from a certain brand is pretty much the same thing but different colours. thats like saying the stockwells are stupid because they’re just a different colour farmer or visa versa. the valos are all sick except for hte eb1 black im not digging those. but all the boots besides that are insane and the bag and belt is hot.

i think the erik baileys look real good i want some. i think its good that they are trying to make the skates look good cuz who wants ugly skates? and whoever it was who said valo skates are all the same is stupid. they hav the tv1, the jj1 and now the eb1 which are all different designs, but then there are companies like razor which hav the same design in diff colours and release them as different pro skates. at least valo call them limited editions of the same model.

I bought the m12′s Oli Short and I couldn’t even skate them… Did anyone bought
the 12 and the Valo ?
I really want to know if there is a difference of comfort.

I think fashion is important. If the skates don’t at least look good then no one is going to want to do it. Jon Julio knows this. Hell Jon Julio knows everything about the skate industry. There must be a reason why he’s using an m12 boot, and it’s probably because they were the shit back in the day and they still are. It’s been said a million times about Valo/Roces, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” All Jon Julio has done is made them look better and given a load of ungreatful people more choice in what they buy. Anyway, bitching aside, the EB.1′s look sick. I’m really tempted to try valo, especially the low cuff models, which seems to be most of them now. Damn…

They are ruining roces. Julio is trying to use valo to kill roces. They Screw everyone on the roces team. Charles Dunkle and Mike Lilly have been asking for new skates forever and charles finally got some yet they just sent him the boot and he waited forever. i dont think mike has got any yet. and you see oli in those pics yeah this is what is going to happen, julio is going to offer oli money and he is going to leave roces for valo. julio is killing roces for valo.

i do want to see one thing tho, what happened with the original concepts, those jji meets chuck taylor designs, i dont know if anyone else remembers those, but they were hella fresh, i wanna see those maroon joints go into production

OK so I was a little disapointed.

They finally started making size 15, but for people with big feet beware! the sides of the hard boot inside are reaaaly narrow. I took a hack saw to it and cut off the front end. but now Im having a hell of a time getting it back in. I busted 3 skrews and bolts getting the boot back on and no extras :( for $300 I shouldnt have to go through all this hassle. make different width sizes valo. Like E – 4E like new balance does.
Another thing that bugs me is the liner. Why is it made of hard ass plastic? thats bent inwards so it digs into your skin?
But other then these two things I really like everything else about the skate. And I support everyone involved in the company.
