Valo Designer Boot

If you’ve happened to miss the addition of Valo to the rollerblading industry, maybe you should start to take notice. We contacted Jon Julio about the upcoming release of some limited edition designer Valo skates. Read about what Jon has to say about these new limited edition skates and maybe glimpse into the future and see how Valo could step up the skate game.
E : What has inspired the move to make a limited edition valo skate?what do you think sets the valo limited editions apart from other limited edition skate products?
Valo : A lot of inspiration comes from the shoe market..Making limited colorways and designs keeps things fresh and exclusive..After the “Fashion” TV.1 comes out ,you will see us taking limited edition models into a new direction…We do it our way and that’s what keeps us apart from the other products out there..
E : What steps were involved with designing the overboot and who designed it.
Valo : The original tv.1 was designed by the original Valo team, but the limited edition FASHION TV.1 was a sample designed from one of our main designers in Italy. Once we got a photo we posted it on the internet to get a response..and since our very 1st post we have had nothing but positive reactions..we are very excited to offer this model.. Definitely collectors items. Im actually keeping 2 models for myself..cause I know we wont make them anymore..

The VALO logos all over the boot looks like GUCCI design. My bet for next time: all black, leather boot with metal studs for durability and a small red tag that says VALO… And a big price tag that says 1000$ :o

julio’s a fucking idiot. he cant make an original, good quality company for the life of him.
shitty ass wheels like dyna. fucking pointless company like synergy bearings. ugly skins from valo called “limited edition” when 1)every other industry already has a concept called limited edition, and 2) those skins are, ironically, ugly as fuck.
learn to run and innovate a company jon, you dumb fuck.
April 16th, 2006 at 1:34 am
…not to mention shitty to-be failures like sifika.

Hmmm… Lots of hate… do you need a hug?
April 16th, 2006 at 3:22 am
hey lerd your a dumbass. you dont even have a company so shut yo ass up. you cant talk shit on a man like Julio who has suported rolling for many years. check yourself!

Jon Julio has done something that a lot of you assholes will never do, and as some grommet above pointed out, he’s done it several times…and thats taking a fucking chance. SFW if some didn’t pan out, the man has ideas and he follows thru. He’s got a great company in Valo, and I personally have a pair which I use damn near every day. I could give a fuck what other industries do with the use of the phrase “limited edition”, because i rollerblade. I wish shitheads like lerd ryfe came in a limited edition model though, because then we’d all see a fewer of them.

Wow. Hmmmm…Thats pretty cool about the skates. But dissing companies like Dyna and Synergy. Well, I guess you can damn the man for trying to make products for some thing he loves, but I just do not see the point in it. How was synergy not inovative? Dyna, Roces, 50/50, England, United, USD, Valo, Sifika, Runners PRojects, Head Case Live, IMYTA,etc…… All ground breaking companies/projects that he has been either closely involved with or OWNED. Skater owned, skater run, making products that we need that are good quality and at a decent price(except england, I will never understand the $60 jeans thing…But I also shell it out and shop at express for men, so I guess I dont count for that one.) I just dont see why kids are knocking the old guys in this sport that are trying to do things that make our products better and stand out. If you dont like it, great what ever, but just stop calling out the person behinde it and trying to make them look like idiots. Its no big secret that I am not the biggest fan of Dunkle, but I give him credit for actually turning a profit with Roces. He took a company that was going down hill and gave them a face lift that worked. I dont like it at all, but thats just me. Julio took a part of Roces, Valo, and is making it a awesome company. Give the man credit for making some thing work, even if its not your cup of tea. Jack ass.

ez egy nagy büdös fos!!!
April 16th, 2006 at 9:49 pm
corey u fucking idiot. dyna, synergy, united, runners project are all high quality? are you out of your mind? dyna was one of the worst urethane ever produced. dont even get me started on runners project, you moron. these companies barely make it thru. and then julio just bails onto 2d regime cause he cant, for the life of him, even produce his own high quality wheel company.
yeah buddy, dyna was SURELY a very high quality company. thats why they still ewxist today, right? RIGHT?????????
fucking moroon
April 16th, 2006 at 10:40 pm
i dont like them…they seem to high class…reminds me of what preps would wear…..but thats me….i like plain and simple lol….but hey its a nice skate what can i say but i just dont like the color
April 16th, 2006 at 10:52 pm
Medium went under and they were the absolute BEST wheels ever produced. Fiziks, probably the MOST INNOVATIVE idea in skating went under. Just because a company is awesome does not insure success. Look at second regime. The WORST wheels I ever rode were the first 4 gens of 2R wheels. They are finally making good wheels now, but some how they stayed on top all of that time. Im done with you, you have the IQ of a walnut and are probably some snot nosed 16 year old. Go skate and quit being mad that some one has tried things that you will never have the opportunity to do.
April 17th, 2006 at 9:44 am
all you fucker are out of your fucking mind if you hate on julio why are you even skating kill your self
April 17th, 2006 at 4:18 pm
man all your doing is firing stuff up everywhere and whining your bitch ass mouth at everything. The rolling community aint a jackass sell out self-hating place for you to fly your spit into everyone’s damn face. Every rolling company that’s putting it out there should be damn well appreciated and supported especially valo which is recruiting rollerbladers all over and winning a good amount of events.

I’ll say this cause I’m in the roller industry. You have to break a few eggs before you can make ther perfect omlette. It’s pretty impossible for us as skaters to understand the business mind of everyday corporate america. I make skates. I think my skates will evolutionize the industry, yet theres a chance like with runners project that it’s just not what the industry wants or maybe like with fiziks it’s too advanced for some of the people that just see things in black and white. Jon Julio who I know is a very smart and kind man, and considering that the business world changes all the time dealing with our sport, well you can’t exactly blame him for creating companies that allowed for him to make a dollar by supplying items that we needed. Also all of his products were of excellent quality. I still have my runners project backpack and it only has a small tear from the years of always staying packed.
who cares what the trend is, you should care about what you need. Jon Julio brings you what you need.
