God my contempt for broskow keeps growing every time I watch these. The guy does not deserve any of these skater of the year titles or places in these competitions. Not that he’s bad at skating, he’s amazing, but only when he tries. To think this guy beats Haffey and Aragon and Sizmore and Bailey is laughable, he skates at 10 percent of his true abilities the entire competition while everyone else puts their heart into every hammer they attempt. The guy got third at the world finals with a mid-sized 540 and a half-assed 450 back backslide, wtf.
I usually dont like watching these Valo comp edits. They are so biased when they edit/film. They only put in people who ride valos, which makes somewhat of a flat/boring edit. For example, the Razor WRS edit was dope. It showed almost everyone who competed… and they tried to film all they could. I’m sure Valo filmed other people skating, but I’m guessing they are doing this for marketing reasons. Just my opinion!
i could not agree more with Eric. once again i am extremely disappointed in broscow’s skating. he is an amazing skater! why doesnt he act like it!??? WTF! its like hes giving up on rollerblading…i dont get it. im just mad cuz he was one of my favorites and now hes one of my most hated….
having good or in my opinion, “fashionable” style should win you sponsorships and video parts, not competitions. Competitions should go to the people who skate the hardest, take the biggest risks, and do the hardest tricks on a consistent basis. i didn’t even see brosk hit that big ledge that CJ royaled 540 to flat, and yet even 13 yr old wake shepman killed it! how do you just choose to avoid an obstacle like that and still get 3rd? and why is it cooler to gap to the 1 foot tall ledge right next to it when other skaters are risking their lives to grind the big one? (stephane and shima both took head shots coming off of the high ledge)
i like brosky as a person and a skater, but don’t ever want to see him do miszous again, unless it’s fakie 5 disaster miszou or something, ya know?
just my opinion
