Feinberg is one of the most well-rounded skaters ever to blade.
He pretty much dominated every comp he entered, street AND vert. Then he caught a lot of flak for being a “park rat” so he took it to the streets and killed it there too and still does.
Tech, hammers, park…he’s got it all. This is one dude that’s done some seriously death-defying shit.

Thanks for this, brings back the memories of when I first started skating. I used to watch this film in my friends bedroom with the original crew with Josh Petty and Sagona posters all over the wall. Great memories and a film with personalities that have been unsurpassed before or since in blading!

why arent there teams like this today. like wtf all pro teams have like what 2 to 5 skaters that are pro. the industry needs to focus on makiing cool people that are interesting to watch on their pro teams. enough of this either blader gang shit or tight pants grungy dirty mofos. i remember when this came out everyone wanted to b a badass blader. so blading was badass. Loved watching that. Brought me right back to the day. I don’t think it was better or worse, it was just different skating at that time. It’s really tough to compare today’s rollerblading to back 2002, and even more difficult to compare 2002 to 1992. The point is that I believe there has been healthy growth in rollerblading since I started in 1994. I hope in 10 more years we can look back and realize that this era was the beginning of something big.
I also agree that the concept of teams has changed a bit. I feel like teams used to throw down hard together, and now it is a lot of disconnection. I give Valo some credit for having the guys skate and tour together on a somewhat regular basis. SSM is working on it, but, after that, I don’t see teams really shredding together a whole lot.

Old blonde mom is Mark Farnan’s wife. The former owner of Airborne skatepark in metro Detroit, MI. I didn’t realize he let the USD team stay back at his place in the early 2000′s. It’s funny cuz when I’d see the older guys partying at Airborne and shit back when I first started skating (I was 13), I didn’t think nothing of it cuz I was 13 and I simply had no interest in partying. Woulda been fun to have chilled with these guys back when there was a little more money in the “industry”.

Oh by the way…
It will go back to the day people just celebrate the fact that a person rollerblades. It will go back to love and creativity, individual and collective expression and pure rolling art.
It will come the time where skating is seen for what it truly is, where skaters are well paid, companies are run by the very people that made the foundation of rollerblading and there will be respect amongst the generations.
Wait and see. I do my part, I have faith.
