The Usd Realm
The Realm is a new style skate from USD based on a classic look. We originally designed the Realm as an entry-level skate, but after our initial testing we found that a lot of top skaters also loved the skate.
We decided to stick with our philosophy of providing a high-quality entry level skate at an unbelievably low price, which is great for beginners, but we are also very confident that the Realm will also be the skate of choice for some of the world’s best skaters.

I think they look good and fuckin sexy as far as entry level skates go. They’ll look even better when they are released in different colours (if that ever happens…). They look much better than the grycons ever did. what is the split cuff all about? what is the point of it?

the skate looks really good in real life, I see now that they changed the color of the cuff, it was white at the beginning. skate is super super light and flex very well. wait for some edit from Adam or anyone from USd team skating them, and you will see that you will like them. they kinda remind m12, not bulky at all.

donc remis au gout du jour ça peu que étre bon
pi comme d’hab avec du USD on va esperer pouvoir tout changer et ce faire de bien bon custo

Why is everyone so focussed on the look? Does’nt anyone care about the ride anymore? Isn’t that what it’s all about? You must realize this since if a skate only looks good but skates bad that it’s no good anymore and that to me beats the heck out of a skate that looks bad and rides good. Anyone remembers the first time Xjados came out? “ewwww ugly!” “crap skates” “I prefer the old boots”. Look at everyone now riding their Xjados with pride! You do know why don’t you? It’s because they are reputed to ride well. Maybe now they’ll look good but the fact is it’s the ride that got them bought. Now every skate gets a down because it “LOOKS” the same as the last. You gotta be kidding me!

Be quiet Jordan, you have no idea as to how they skate so you cannot say anything. I do wish USD would focus more on their other products, I don’t know. The Legacy still needs to be heavily reworked and the Grycon is getting there as to its condition from where it once was. No one can say anything until an actual hands on review comes out. Until then, keep quiet.

as for the grycons, i had em, and i like em. i just didnt like the dinky bs area, and the souls (which kept slipping off)

hey everybody here on the forum we can’t skate new models, but we can see how does it look. For example i don’t like how realm’s look, but i don’t say that they are piece of shit. I am riding USD Classic Throne skates now fistly because i like how they skates and secondly i like their look. Btw Legacy is crap !

I think they look nice enough and its not like they surely look like that when they come out to stores but i like the sound of cheap prize also.
Also I wouldnt say like some peeps say that some specifict skate sucks or is crap because everyone is individual humanbeing some likes legacys some likes xjados etc, and its an issue of taste and so on.

I think that no matter what the skate is everyone has their own favourite.
We can disagree on the looks as long as we like but I also agree its HOW THEY SKATE not how they look that mattters.
Also think its really childish to say :” Razors/Xjados/Usd/Salomon/etc is crap.
Also agree the legacy needs some work too heavy and I own a pair, perhaps Im one of the rare ones:D.
We see what comes out of those blades when they done their finishing touch, We can just hope for the best:)

To be fair we sent 2 pairs of these skates out, one to guy crawford and one to Adam Zura, and they both absolutely love them. Thats where the surprise is, it was supposed to be entry level, but the groove is sick, the soulplate slides good, they are light and the ankle flex is great.
And for the record i skated the pianowski legacys for a month and I think they are amazing, lighter than the old models, the new backslide plate is so so so good and they slide so fast…right now im using the legacy plate on my deshis…

i actually like them, hate me all you wish, i think with some nice able frames and some sifika liners they would be lush, im definatley gonna consider them, if there good enough for adam zuriweki (spell?) there good enough for anyone.

I got a pair of these to test about a month ago and I’m so impressed, they’re really amazing! Slimline without all the annoying puff and decoration, solid, fast on grinds with a deep perfect groove and a great cuff design! They’re just a shell with essentially two parts and a frame, possibly the lightest skate ever? Loving them…

Don’t like the cuffs skin, other than that they just look like Grycons with Dual plates (Ricardo Lino has skated that for a while) wich doesn’t looks too bad in my opinion. Just needs another frame.
I’ve seen them in white also, wich is quite nice. They’ll be around € 120,- or at least that’s what I heard.

They seem pretty good to me, im glad skate companies are starting to realise the 4 main attributes of a good skate:
lightweight (ie no unecessary features (eg the adjustable soulplates on the legacy))
comfort
good soleplates with a good groove (these look like the offer it)
good flex/control (a simple plastic hardboot offers both of these
i would quite happily skate this skate, even though it may not look the best
definetely interested in those soleplates tho :)
