Usd Legacy Carlos Pianowski

Legacy Relaunch, Series 2
Since the beginning Carlos was a Legacy lover, but it was not everyones favourite skate, and here are the main reasons why :
1. The adjustable backslide plate
2. The weight
3. the narrow fit
4. Liner issues
5. Too many parts
So with the Carlos skate all of the above was taken into account. The skates comes out of the box with the new backslide plate which makes it super easy to look on any obstacles, wide, with a perfectly formed angled groove it is easy to look on for royals and torques on any surface. Smooth sliding for ultimate control on the grind.
The second issue was the weight. Even thought the Legacy was not excessively heavy the perceptions and feelings were that it was slightly overweight. To fix this we took all the material which we felt was uncessesary out of the soulplates, also we took material out of the USS plate and made the plate a bit thinner . As a result the skeleton including the aluminimum cuff part now weights just 620g yet it still offers all the support needed with the forward flex that you are looking for. Also the center of gravity has been reduced some Milimeters for more control.
The total weight of the skate in size 43 is now just 1554 g. If you weigh your own skate right now you will be surprised to find how lightweight this skate has become.

The fit and comfort of the skate has been totally reworked. The front is about 3mm wider giving a much more comfortable fit and also the heel area and ankle area is wider proving more comfort and still a snug fit.
Together with the sifika SL 310 liner (you cannot go wrong with sifika liners) and the 45° heel strap, the ankle lock on has been improoved while giving an extremely comfortable ride.
Last but not least, due to the adjustment possibilities of the Cuff and Soulplates there was too many parts on the last skate. All the washers have been replaced by bigger custom made screws.
So in the new legacy you will find 24 less peices, so it is now easier and faster to mount, with less parts to lose and easier customisation.
The new Legacy is not only a lighter skate, but it is a completely new story, allchanged and improved throughout the boot.
Features :
- weight 1554 g in size 43
- Undercover Carlos pro wheels with NEW Core, 55mm, 90a
- Sifika Sl 310 Liner
- Kizer Airshockabsrober with more air.
- Sifika Dual Inner Shocksole

September 5th, 2006 at 8:11 am
Maybe i’m too old for this nonsense, but it looks like something a 12 year old would come with: “oh dude that’s so radical man!!”
Just give me a jet black skate with zero…ZERO detailing or logos or anything, and i’m happy.
September 5th, 2006 at 8:13 am
btw, how much is US $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?
September 5th, 2006 at 8:42 am
the reason why the legacys is meant for carlos, is becuase he is the only person on usd that likes the skates and no one else, and he deserves it!
September 5th, 2006 at 9:08 am
Finally a legacy skate that could be a best seller, and also an skate that show Carlos Pianowski’ attitude … Hardcore
September 5th, 2006 at 9:16 am
uglyyy
September 5th, 2006 at 9:22 am
wtf
fuck those skull printings
i’m not 10years old
September 5th, 2006 at 9:54 am
Whhhhat? so ugly like all the legacyz
September 5th, 2006 at 9:56 am
They look better than the old ones. USD sound like they’ve thought about the design a bit. They are still deshi’s with an exoskeleton though. I wonder what a CK2 boot would look like with the soul plate and cuff. My thoughts? Sick!
September 5th, 2006 at 9:57 am
yeh i agree… get rid f thos skulls. Something you would by in a toy store. The overall skate looks okay though. esp the soul system.
September 5th, 2006 at 9:58 am
I’m sorry again folks but I knew that when U Suck Dick first introduced the legacy skates that they wouldn’t sell, That’s why you never say oh I don’t know “Rachard Johnson” ever riding his own pieces of shit legacy skates. I do have to admit though the new design dealing with the backslide plate will definitely get quite a few people including myself I will have to put them on my kelso’s and hey don’t fuckin steal my idea.
September 5th, 2006 at 10:20 am
Chill out mate, it’s alright, I don’t have Kelsos so I can’t. It’s an idea that will never turn into reality. Customize til your heart’s content.
September 5th, 2006 at 11:10 am
I think that there sick… you guys really need to stop bitching about how it looks whats important is how it skates and with the imporvments USD has made im sure these are going to skate hella badass. and there sick becase there not all HIP HOP gangster style theres nothing wrong with that but its nice to see some hardcore shit getting done. and at least there is no pink like the deshi’s
September 5th, 2006 at 11:19 am
looks good. if you want a jet black skate , take a pen over the skulls ? im realy glad a company is listening to skaters and not just pretending to like the rest.
September 5th, 2006 at 11:53 am
preety sicckkk
September 5th, 2006 at 12:26 pm
It’s eas to hate on the skate because everyone else does, but both carlos and demetrious swar by the legacy skate, and i have been skating the pianowski legacy for a month and I love it. Its got perfect support, its noticably lighter and also is the fastest sliding skate i have ever tried. Best ever for torque slides and so smooth on soul tricks.
Also its a really long lasting skate. So those are my two cents.
September 5th, 2006 at 12:39 pm
a true pro skate, pro frames, pro wheels ets. thats the way its should be. we will see how they perform when they`ll be out here.
September 5th, 2006 at 1:09 pm
SWEET! they dont weight 15 pounds anymore haha
September 5th, 2006 at 1:23 pm
nope you forgot pro liners
September 5th, 2006 at 1:32 pm
haha they lk like k mart skates. if someone gave me those id jus take the liners out and ditch everything else haha. na well its a good thing they made them lighter and put sifikas in em
September 5th, 2006 at 1:53 pm
A few weeks ago when the new info on the 2006 Team-Throne came out there was a quite huge group in here who agreed that it was great because it looked like professional gear. The Legacy compared to the Throne again looks like it was made to attract kids. Im not judging the material or the techique used, but talking about promoting us as an evolving mature rolling comunity this doesn´t really help…
September 5th, 2006 at 2:05 pm
why the hell do you people care if there’s a skull on the side. This is Carlos’ style. and his pro skate. USD is the only skate company actually doing something different while the rest are jsut sticking to the same molds and just changing the colours. Props to USD and Carlos for this sick skate.
all that matters is how well they skate.
when the hell did skating become a f-cking fashion show!!!
September 5th, 2006 at 2:09 pm
I thinks its an very diferent style of skate. maynly because of the aluminum cuff holder. Im completly HAPPY FOR PIANOWSKY and his new skates, he deserved that at rmz and i dont now why KATO didnt represent. i skate legacys and i love it as much as i loved RZRS SHIMA 6. its a completly diferent skate but i like it any ways.
ONCE AGAIN CONGRATS FOR PIANOWSKY MY FREND REPRESENTING AGAIN!
September 5th, 2006 at 2:12 pm
Carlos is one hell of a badass and a ridiculous skater, but those skulls look awful. And personally I do think how a skate looks is important, because I think overall style is a more important factor in your skating than the difficulty of the trick, and if you have a stupid looking skate, you will be doing stupid looking tricks.
September 5th, 2006 at 2:36 pm
they’re hot
September 5th, 2006 at 2:48 pm
im skatin legacys atm, the old ones, and i have to say the main issues raised are the ones i really dislike!!
the carlos ones look soooo sick though!!!
I WANT THEM!
or to at elast buy that backslide plate coz the movable one is stupid
September 5th, 2006 at 3:19 pm
i think people have aright to complain about aargon skates frankys an carlos but not because there wak but because the person buyin them has to spend over 200$ an the average skater doesnt make that nor does anyone in there family wanna buy a PAIR OF SKATES FOR 200$ so with that said to some people spending 250 bucks on somthing they dont like will make them say rude an mean things about skates ..but its definatly not about looks its all about the ride except with fat chicks anthick hips
September 5th, 2006 at 3:53 pm
The skull does make the skate look kind of tacky, but all the improvements sound good. Never skated a legacy before, though, so i can’t really be the judge of all that.
It’s also weird how the Convention makes everything you need except bearings.
September 5th, 2006 at 4:19 pm
É BRASIL!!!!!!
É DOIDERA
É METAL

September 5th, 2006 at 4:21 pm
sick, good job pia!
September 5th, 2006 at 6:05 pm
Does anyone know are the (soulplates /or kinda mean the wings) still like moveable? so can have more bigger grinding area, or did they remove that possibility that u can “push them out”?
I Would apriciote if anyone tells that.
September 5th, 2006 at 6:09 pm
You can still take them out. Also The Convention, more usually known as “The conference” does make bearings, by kizer…
September 5th, 2006 at 6:19 pm
they kind of remind me of K2’s anyone else with me on that? Also i agree with all those who favor the skull detailing out of the picture
September 5th, 2006 at 6:27 pm
i love that skate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 5th, 2006 at 8:16 pm
im getin it
September 5th, 2006 at 8:29 pm
goood!!
September 5th, 2006 at 8:41 pm
I remember when the Legacy concept first came out. The concept sounded very novel and revolutionary and it chose to change the way people skated by giving people more customization options, trust in a skate that offered more than any other skate in the market in terms of a somewhat technologically sound cuff system (which sounded great on paper), a USS (Universal Soul System) and a customizable BS plate. They all sounded so nice but the end result was not accepted with gleeful responses. I learnt a valuable lesson from it though. I learnt that no matter how great a concept may sound or appear that it’s never EVER a good idea to be the first to get it. Wait for it to fine tune everything. AHHH…this reminds me of the Mooks when they first came out and there were “crack reports” on all servers. What I’m suggesting in this comment is to wait for it. If the coast is clear, buy it.
September 5th, 2006 at 9:09 pm
they look very sick, and they fixed all the problems that i’ve heard about them. mabey i’ll give them a try as my next skate.
September 5th, 2006 at 9:33 pm
The skate are so METAL!!!!! with the skulls
September 5th, 2006 at 9:50 pm

September 5th, 2006 at 9:53 pm
they look ok but a bit rockerish for me but thts my opinion.i like that it is a real pro skate-boot,frames and wheels.I skated the venoms and i reckon these will skate exactly the same.for me the legacys r far 2 bulky.usd shud have stuck to the ufs thrones and classic thrones.
