these are real skates, before they started making cheater skates i.e. huge soulplated blades, try skating these thrones with a flat setup, and you’ll start crying for your carbon skate and freestyle frames in a second, also these should have been the farewell gonzo skate, not the USD 7 they made for him

Anyone who was around in the Coup De Tat days will understand the importance of these skates. They may not be a huge leap forward in tech, but these these skates are iconic and that alone can make something worth having.
These skates are amazing just for the fact they represent a legendary skate, video and team as a whole.
USD should make a classic series for the growing ‘old man’ market out there who just want to reminisce about The Stretch Crew and the Boot Soldiers.

These are immense. Updating the old model should make it pretty perfect to skate. I loved my old black Julio thrones, Really not fussed about minimal Neg space, never been a fan of engs anyway.
So when are they re releasing Oxygen Argons 1.1s? ha.

Fair does to USD for bringing out an old skool skate, i think its good that there making the modern carbons for us younguns, but re-releasing some old style skates for those skaters from back in the day. I definatly would not but them for myself, but well done USD. Not afraid to take a risk.

Chris Farmer did negatives in Salomons, which had a MINISCULE negative space. So the shit can be done.

thank you usd! if you really want us to be happy then do us a solid and keep the backslide plate and fix the front soul. no not like the newer souls those are too fat. close to the soul like juice and give a little more negative and you got the perfect skate you could sell forever not just 10 years. these skates are almost perfect and wouldnt take much redesign to get there. you can do it.
