@anon: there is no such thing as “pros” in the blading scene. a pro (professional) won’t enter a park comp without a helmet, because he knows it has consequences, teenagers won’t wear it because it’s not cool.
What you can call “pro” are just skaters with friends in the industry, or a good level of skating. But nothing really separate them from the AM state other than this money support.
Made me laugh when i saw the post of Daniel Kinney “No skaters will be allowed to enter the BSCD comp without a helmet” ; he just posted it some days after the crash of Brian Aragon.

He got used to completely different backslide grooves very quickly. Impressive.
The harder boot will help him carry speed through-out parks more easily as well.
This might be the beginning of him upping his level an extra little bit, particularly in the big park comps. Will be interesting to keep an eye on.

if you saw the last edits of him (like the massacre and remz os yellow promo) you will agree that his skating also went a more creative direction but still remains kickass

frankys never been as solid as he was on rbs, his style was never as tight on remz until the the open shell (os boot) was released.
he doesnt seems as controlled on usds but with time that will change, i just hope he sticks to one product, doesnt float between classic, ufs and carbon

making recreational skates is wrong? are you mad? rollerblade always did, salomon did, roces, K2 did and this brands where the first to make so called aggressive skates (roces vert and lowrider, rollerblade lightning and tarmac, K2 fatty, salomon st series)…to promote inline skating with crazy kids doing “new” stunts. learn your roots.

Yes USD just made a new Carbon 3 REC Skate which means $$ NOT GOING to the pro team. Especially since they will sell very little of their rec skates, just another failed USD investment.
