Skateboarding has its limits…yeah the tricks are “rough looking” “short” and they cannot do so high objects or deep so easily but it’s totally different sport and I have skateboarded so I can say it is hard.

I just pray and hope that rollerblading won’t become trendy EVER.

It’s true like I said before, they can land tricks normally not hard ones but the fact is that their sport is no harder than ours. How hard is it to flip a board with your feet, if you mess up to jump off the board and walk away, how hard is it to pump and only gain a little air cause you refuse to listen to someone who’s sport is superior in difficulty, this is skateboarding that claims to be so hard but really isn’t. I use to skateboard but that is something I grew out of cause for me skateboarding was too easy and it was a waste of wood. There are a few, very few guys who are descent but I know that’s under a hundred worldwide. whereas with bladers, it’s in the thousands and that says a lot cause that means the line is getting closer but still is far off. Unlike skateboarding. Xgames, I see them fall all the time, Dew tour same thing, Same as triple crown. Point is that they surely suck. Oh and it’s not cause their sport is so hard or harder than ours. It’s cause they’re too fucking stupid to learn from their mistakes. It’s not just the young ones, it’s the older ones as well. The difference is that those who understand respect will give it and won’t be ignorant to something cool. This is why the war started and continues to go on.

in Australia its like some Australians here have said, you ll see most of those lil shit heads that say things like “hey rollerblader do a backflip”…. them being from a age of 12-16years, ive been to a number of places mostly good parks(which there isnt a abundence of) you ll see skateboarders aged 17-30+ ripping the bowl at bondi beach skate park as well as doing some smooth lines and Monster park at sydney(Olympic park) 99% are noobs or on the verg or being alright and focused on what their doing and getting it right, and there are a few young ones getting in there and doing good on the vert and indoor park, and the vets around 20+ that are sweet azz on the mini and indoor park.

this skateboarding vs. rollerblading thing is over, or just for 15 year olds that feel a need to hate on something/anything.

everyone can learn to respect skill for whatever it is that they do.

…that being said, skateboarders tend to be alergic to consistancy. and that video was funny (although inaccurate, Bakes was right about riverside putting out some crazy ass skateboarders)

If you have never skateboarded you know nothing. Its super hard to be consistent skateboarding. I don’t understand some of you guys on here, skateboarding pros are like gods to the skateboarding community but when a dude puts his video on here every one is like my mates can do better than him you shouldn’t be pro. NO FUCKING RESPECT!
