we took a roadtrip to lawrence kansas for a week and filmed out there and KC. it’s going to be more of the city of denver lifestyle and the personalities of bladers themselves in the skate video, rather then every single clip filmed in denver. but lots of downtown denver craziness.

why dont u guys just call this movie THINGS U GUYS DO IN DENVER THAT MAKE ME DIE OF BOREDOM..seems like editors/filmers wanna get us all involed and have a ohh i know how much fun there having by watching some chad kyle and jason from denver skate , well sorry i dont feel the need to see them drinking and having a good old car ride when theres bills to be paid and spots to be skated i give this trailer a half apple out of a possible 100 apples

i am talking about all these kids putting time lapses in the beginning of their trailers. in other words several people have done it. thus not keeping it as innovative and interesting.

Look idiot. An establishing shot is good at the start of any video presentation, A time lapse of a city skyline works great as an establishing shot, especially when you are trying to showcase a particular metropolitan area, Therefore the time lapse makes sense there and that would explain why other people would have them at the start of trailers as well. Your comment is the equivalent of “people who use a drumbeat at the beginning of their song are unoriginal”, A time lapse is a device for use in this type of situation.
Its quite obvious that you know little about video and you just wanted to stroke your own ego a bit because you know what a time lapse is. You bring nothing constructive or frankly even clever to this situation at all,

You’re taking my position out of context. I said nothing about it over all as a technique itself to be unoriginal. It could be used to show a number of different things as well, not just an establishing shot. Other videos did the same thing. And then this comes along as well. It could be be just like emcees or producers that cop of other’s styles. It is not to say that it is not a good technique. What if five more trailers were made and they all had a time lapse included in a similar manner. Everyone of those guys is going to be original and creative and not one will be copying?
