oh my god could this guy be any more awkward.
January 16th, 2012 at 9:42 pm
Gotta love everything Julio does.
January 16th, 2012 at 9:50 pm
Gotta love how Julio always seems to start one project then abandons it for another. What the hell is going on with Dyna Wheels? Are there any available? Julio announced the rebirth of the company last year and since then there has been nothing. Then he declares that there will be a new video game and frame company… it’s tough to keep up!
January 16th, 2012 at 9:51 pm
the next big thing is out there! evereything these guys do is for higher purposes. ”if you want do something right, you have to do it yourself” these are not just words, my friends.
January 16th, 2012 at 10:01 pm
look like slightly changed valo frames to me
January 16th, 2012 at 10:04 pm
10 points go to haffey for the creepiest awkward eyes.
January 16th, 2012 at 10:04 pm
Hope this works out, as it’s run by one of the better-known business heads, our best creative visionary and our best murder-machine when it comes to going big.
In theory, on paper, it’s a rollerblading Holy Trinity, so expectations are high in terms of a team, brand image and most importantly, the quality and reasonable pricing of the product itself.
Inclined to have reservations due to the seemingly saturated market, but fingers tightly crossed that it works out, that the product is worthy of being purchased by us all and that more money heads the way of rollerblader-owned companies for slow and stable market growth.
January 16th, 2012 at 10:05 pm
i happened to like valo frames.even if this is just a re-worked version,i’ll still be down to support it for sure.solid dudes.
January 16th, 2012 at 10:15 pm
woot woot! can’t wait!
January 16th, 2012 at 10:27 pm
They look like a cross between CO AND GC. Could be a perfect mix?
January 16th, 2012 at 10:28 pm
Kizer and GC had a baby and it ended up looking like youth frames, Julio is high if you ask me, Farmer is calling out OG for the nothing you dont need and Haffey well nothing hes doing toe rolls i guess
January 16th, 2012 at 10:38 pm
Wow, finally someone providing something I want without messing around for ages or trying to create some suspense marketing plans. That IS what I call an anouncement ! The frame is ready, I can see it, and it seems that they have nothing to hide. Add to this the fact that, well … that are not just some random guys launching some short-lived products, if someone is able to know what my frame needs to be, it certainly is these three legends put together. And to the ones complaining about Julio’s too many unfinished projects, it just shows that he is trying his best you retards !
I am not the one to say “support this or that because it is our industry” ordinarily, but I woud probably buy those frames even if they were made of recycled oysters shell.
Congrats for this The Youth Co. !
January 16th, 2012 at 10:39 pm
i want teh farmer one’s !
January 16th, 2012 at 10:41 pm
Wow, these are good news! Frames looks solid. I think there will be huge sales drop for GC frames after these babies will hit stores..
January 16th, 2012 at 11:37 pm
I want my by Haffey, any distribution in south america?
January 16th, 2012 at 11:37 pm
isnt it a really dumb idea to come up with another company that competes with your good friends over at Create Originals.. Surely this means their profit margin which im sure is very small anyway is about to get hit even more due to another frame company in the mix..
silly silly idea
January 16th, 2012 at 11:43 pm
This means that Chris Haffey won’t be using GC frames anymore ?
January 16th, 2012 at 11:55 pm
lol. The Youth Co.
January 17th, 2012 at 12:11 am
Too many frames Co. with a little rollerblader!
January 17th, 2012 at 12:12 am
it be nice to see these in action and what size wheels they can take etc.
January 17th, 2012 at 12:14 am
nothing new ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
January 17th, 2012 at 12:32 am
just what we need…another shitty frame….Kizer ftw
January 17th, 2012 at 12:46 am
The thing that makes me wonder is.. Why is this frame differnt from any other frame. Why would I want to buy it?
January 17th, 2012 at 1:11 am
LOL that was the most akward video ever on rollernews
January 17th, 2012 at 1:13 am
now i dont know who to support. create or the youth?
January 17th, 2012 at 1:24 am
Julio is a wannabe sellout
January 17th, 2012 at 1:38 am
These frames do like like a GC OG hybrid…. Im sure they do wanna make the frames more fancy, and unique, but you gotta remember its a brand new company, and there is so little money in rollerblading. Anyone who pays attentiopn c
January 17th, 2012 at 1:40 am
That video was very unprofessional, I expected something better. Why all the stuff by Julio looks exactly the same lately? valo, Blading the game, Them goods, Youth… isn’t that logo look the same as the stockwell bearings packaging?
No hate, I am glad there is a new brand and fully support farmer, Julio and Haffey but those frames are nothing new.
January 17th, 2012 at 1:48 am
that farmer frame looks warped
January 17th, 2012 at 1:55 am
These frames do like like a GC OG hybrid…. Im sure they do wanna make the frames more fancy, and unique, but you gotta remember its a brand new company, and there is so little money in rollerblading. Anyone who pays attention can see that most new skate companies (espescially skater owned ones) start off with products that closely resemble products from the past. That is because these small companies save money by buying old molds from other companies, or borrowing technology to get going. SSM skates ( which started out as Nihm) have shells that are almost exactly the same as the old razor cults, and have the same high cuffs as the old Roces M12. because it’s alot easier to do that, than to invest all the time, money, energy to machine completely new ideas. And after Salomon skates went out of bussiness, I saw atleast 3 companies come out with skates that were nearly identical to the old Salomon mold. In a small industry like ours, technology gets recycled to whoever can afford to produce it. And to me, it looks like YOUTH CO, is almost completely copying GC’s featherlight frames, except the sidewalls are cut alittle different. But that makes sense, because both Haffey and Farmer are used to, and comfortable in GC. Alot of skaters get pissed when they notice the similarities to old products from new companies…… But thats the only way they can afford to start out… If we buy the products, and they make money, they will then invest that capitol into new technology for more variety. I think I will support THE YOUTH Co. for afew reasons. Ive always liked GC frames best, and these look like they will work about the same. So I can get the same quality product Ive been used to, but let my money go to a company owned by skaters for skaters. And I hate seeing how little money Chris Haffey makes. He is just as successfull in skating as Aragon, yet Aragon has these nice cars and bling bling, while Haffey is eating Ramon noodles. It’s about time that our best skater makes some money.
January 17th, 2012 at 1:55 am
if YOUTH make a freestyle model like KIZER type-m !! I BUY
WE NEED THIS SHIT!!DONT FORGET JJ.TANKS
January 17th, 2012 at 2:13 am
ptrtty sure dood said everything you dont need… so no they wont make a type m. cause you dont need that gerbage
January 17th, 2012 at 2:31 am
hhmm youth logo ripped off from an alex trochut custom type logo http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/39/futurey.png/
January 17th, 2012 at 2:59 am
lol these are pretty much ground control featherlight 2′s
January 17th, 2012 at 3:28 am
Do we really need another frame company? Why in rollerblading do we abandon our history to create new companies that only last a couple years. Instead keep our heritage companies alive like 50/50 and SENATE.
To many design lines for a frame, but whatever.
January 17th, 2012 at 3:29 am
PS, come out with a grey frame and ill buy it.
January 17th, 2012 at 3:39 am
I got it!…we shall call them… the Fluidlights…man im good…not really impressed here but thats just me. those hblocks and grooves look a little crazy to me.
January 17th, 2012 at 3:41 am
Excited to see these. I also see fagwhore Brandon Smith is getting his cut on this.
January 17th, 2012 at 4:15 am
“Diaz”,
You’re an idiot. Good riddance.
And GL-Joe, boy you’re another dumbfuck who says “Waahh do we need another company?!!” Listen you idiot, do you really wanna regress or stay stagnant, or stay in the stone age? Do you even respect innovation, because you’ll need new ideas and new companies to not only come up with new designs but to make things more competitive.
Fuck you two.
January 17th, 2012 at 4:37 am
SICK!!!
SHORT COMMENTS AND SHIT!
January 17th, 2012 at 4:43 am
that concept will work tho! Those frames will function as stock-frames on all the valo skates. Its actually not such a big deal. So instead of the old stock-frames, which have to be produced anyways, they just take “youth” stock-frames.
January 17th, 2012 at 4:44 am
wow where have I´ve seen this frame model before? oh yeah thats right! GC featherlights and Create Originals…and now this?
January 17th, 2012 at 5:04 am
They look more like a combo of either these two:
-A combo of Valo stock frames x GC
or
-Create Originals x Kizers
January 17th, 2012 at 5:06 am
Gotta Love,
Completely agree with you. Julio hypes up upcoming companies and then never follows up. Or if he does actually have a product under the company to sell, he’ll only sell the first run and then the company literally dies off.
January 17th, 2012 at 5:37 am
It’s the fact that you support a company who actually gives a fuck about rollerblading, sure featherlights are great. andy wagner owns ground control, razors makes scooters. you buy some ground controls, you’re buying a scooter. Put your money where it should go, not in the hands of a 60 year old white collared business man. fuck ground control and fuck kizer. OG is tight though too!
support both!
January 17th, 2012 at 5:49 am
Gotta agree with GL-Joe. Would rather see someone revive Mindgame than something like this.
January 17th, 2012 at 5:55 am
What’s exactly new about that frame? I mean, either they have found a new material thats as fast as the CO’s ones and as light as the GC’s ones, or there’s no point on bringing a new frame company!
Really don’t see the special thing that would make me wanna buy that frame.. (certainly isn’t the look of it =x )
January 17th, 2012 at 6:30 am
if it slides and lasts as long as CO’s and is as light as a featherlight frame….i will give it a try.
julio is the fuckin boss.
January 17th, 2012 at 7:18 am
These frames will be $60 or more.. sticking with my featherlite2 for $40. JON ELLIOT has always made good frames. GC for life!
January 17th, 2012 at 7:20 am
That couldn’t have been more awkward, they should have been on way more drugs when fliming this
January 17th, 2012 at 7:24 am
Ill just stick with gc thanks. No doubt these frames will be expensive as julios behind it.
Id rather buy from a company thats been making top end frames for over a decade
January 17th, 2012 at 8:01 am

everyone is hating on it but we all know that we all will jump on the band wagon a buy them as soon as they are released.
January 17th, 2012 at 8:35 am
THIS NEEDS TO BE SAIED:
Neither GC Feather lite or CO frames are perfect,
It´s very possible that YOUTH is this perfection.
I have been annoyed at the lack of perfection in
the availability in the UFS frames market for a
while, like JJ said: if you want something done…
January 17th, 2012 at 8:50 am
Congrats to JJ and all the dudes. Kids, learn some respect, those three know what they are doing
Recent JJ’s achievements include first blading video on Itunes Store, pretty amazing blading cup contest in California, worldwide rollerblading tours and fifth VALO team video in the works(Narez is doing it, but i suppose there won’t be a single VALO video without JJ’s support)
It’s awful how disrespectful people in our community can be =(
January 17th, 2012 at 9:14 am
Hehehe.
It seems it’s 1.000.000 brand in our wonderful industry! Congrats!
January 17th, 2012 at 9:28 am
i think it was smarter if they worked together with GC or CO
we need to work together if we wanna go bigger with rollerblading
January 17th, 2012 at 9:31 am
Reasons to buy:
100% skater owned
CO’s break
Julio’s the fucking man!
January 17th, 2012 at 9:43 am
@boris i agree with you …
guys you critisize everything , why don’t you just give feedback about your frame instead ? i mean you want the product to be improved ? well get involved instead of taking about people that try to make out living on rollerblading .
to all of those who things that jj is a wannabe , FTW , JJ is actualy a real rollerblading legend and he as nothing to prove about it’s just a fact
i also agree with the fact that it’s a shame that compagnie dies, but honestly with this
January 17th, 2012 at 9:45 am
I think they look pretty legit!
I can imagine that these frames will be dope!
If they sell them at winterclash I will most likely buy a pair to test them!
January 17th, 2012 at 10:26 am
The big question is offcourse the retail price.
That is going to make the difference,
i think/hope they will go for the same price as a fluid frame, cheaper as CO’s and GC’s.
January 17th, 2012 at 10:43 am
NEVER put Haffey in front of a camera again unless he is wearing a pair of skates hahaha like a nervous kid doing his first stand up in front of the class.
January 17th, 2012 at 11:13 am
if you all wanna keep your heritage in old school companys, then why is no-one skating roces, or solomans or even old RBs… because progression, that why!
pre-ordering mine one i get paid!
January 17th, 2012 at 11:17 am
they look skateable both flat or rocker!! looks cool
January 17th, 2012 at 12:41 pm
yeah, it’s really funny how awkward and nervous Haffey feels. We love him, tho :) I’m looking forward to seeing these frames in action

Julio is a pro at copying others ideas. Just look at valo skates. Vans, Supra knockoffs. I mean do I want a skate or a skate that look like a shoe? Fuck I want a skate that look like a skate goddammit! Themgoods dist just want to look like skateboarding. Ugh gimme a break.
Now they’re going for a more « art-deco » style nowadays….MAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!
Well you can’t blame Jon Julio for making people laugh.

What we DON’T need at all is a new frame company, thank you !
January 17th, 2012 at 2:22 pm
Great another frame company meaning that the market for all the other frame companies gets smaller. Here’s an idea, why don’t we work on creating more bladers so that there is an actual market. Fuck this industry makes no sense.

Well , when you hang out with a 35 year old blader who has bladed for almost 20 years, you can bet that you will see a lot more of this self-promotional talking crap than actual skating.
HEY JJ, LET’S SEE AN EDIT WHERE YOU GUYS ACTUALLY SKATE, OR DO YOUTHS STILL SKATE THESE DAYS, YOU KNOW, TODAY, NOT “BACK IN THE DAY”.
JJ just seems too much like a shark businessman these days, trying to get a monopoly on rollerblading, and then where will all the competition come from to produce new dope products? Fuck blading and it’s “awesome leadership.”
January 17th, 2012 at 3:45 pm
It’s true that we haven’t seen too much from the valo team lately. Who even knows if Victor Arias or Cosimo are still alive? I understand if they’re too busy filming for V, but I remember a time when pros were young ang buck enough to film video parts and have leftovers available for free online edits. Valo must be either understaffed, spread too thin, or way too overcommitted.
January 17th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
It seems like they’re just seeing dollar signs now, and everything they produce will be sold. I mean, I expect Five will be on itunes, so they figure why give shit away for free? Or they’re trying to produce it in 1 year instead of two, so they can’t afford to let any clips go. Either way it seems pretty lame. Get a team that’s young enough to produce some clips!
January 17th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
able frames wi all the silly points taken off!!! no one makes new moldes anymore…………..just another revamp
January 17th, 2012 at 4:55 pm
you dudes are right Haffey is all googly eyed and awkward. he seems like a physico killer or molester. the look of the frames is just like whats out there. and Farmer looks like a silly teenaged girl trying to make a fashion statement.
January 17th, 2012 at 5:29 pm
valo frames were always indestructible, so if they made them way lighter they would be really sick. my guess is thats exactly what these are
January 17th, 2012 at 6:00 pm
I finally just watched it, and there was nothing awkward about it.
I just wanted to add they sounded rock solid when he put them on the table!
LOL!
January 17th, 2012 at 6:14 pm
There could be a new frame that comes with a free Blow job, and you’l still complain. ive come to find that rollerbladers are all bitch little fuck bags. This is great for rollerblading. a new company. Take the penis out your asshole and support for fuck sake. if not, dont buy them. simple.
January 17th, 2012 at 6:35 pm
Julio is “business man”. That is taking older things/ideas painting them a new color and charging $100 more…that sounds like a hustle
January 17th, 2012 at 8:03 pm
epoch frames ….where the fuck are these. Do something new for fn once
January 17th, 2012 at 8:10 pm
Skater owned doesn’t mean anything, it’s just a marketing technique. Sure Haffey and Farmer care about rollerblading…. They care about getting paid so that they can keep rolling for a living. None of these companies give a SHIT about anyone but themselves, especially the skater owned brands.Valo isn’t even skater owned. It’s an entity of Roces. You really think Valo does so good that Julio can fly people all over the fucking world every single year? The guy buys whatever the fuck he wants when he wants because he gets paid from roces. Julio cares about the future of Valo, not the future of rollerblading.
January 17th, 2012 at 8:49 pm
Death to create originals!
January 17th, 2012 at 9:04 pm
i love how fast people are to hate on things. if you havent tried them then you have no place to talk crap on them.
January 17th, 2012 at 9:31 pm
to much compition on the frame market for real, and these dont look bad. but im surly gonna keep skating my ground controls
January 17th, 2012 at 10:16 pm
It’s 2012 everyone is saying Ima big BOWSS
January 17th, 2012 at 10:37 pm
Word. I’ll try em out and see whats up, and whoever offers the first recycled frame, I’ll buy that too.
January 17th, 2012 at 10:40 pm
sorry, cant look at these three retards and take them seriously.
awkward weird…haffeys haircut, farmers coat and hair, JJ’s little kid swag with the hat foward….
damn..this shit is pathetic
January 17th, 2012 at 10:41 pm
I was use these guys to make even more money :)
fuck you all

January 18th, 2012 at 5:32 am
lol @ skater owned. Most skaters are the dumbest business people on the planet. If they can’t even market rollerblading properly, what makes you think they can manufacture and market frames????
Might as well write this now, which you will be readng one year from now – ROLLER WAREHOUSE CLOSE OUTS -sifika shoes $5; Dub Ceasar T-Shirts $5; The Youth Co. Frames $5
January 18th, 2012 at 5:53 am
Farmer skating is great and he had great style, but Jesus what is this?

Wow a lot of the comments in here make me ashamed to be a rollerblader. You little ignorant assholes. First things first all of you that are cruising RN on your PC or Mac, iPhone or Droid phone, and endless amounts of “tablets” out there: You think Steve Jobs or Bill Gates looks like a “BALLA”? Doubt it. When will we stop judging people based on how they dress or their hairstyle? Personally I think if someone produces a product and we buy that product and like them who gives A FLYING FUCK what they look like. Second, If all of you like to rollerblade and want to keep doing it then BUY THE FUCKING PRODUCTS of the companies that support rollerblading!!!! We seriously need to start supporting rollerblading ourselves. Everyone has their opinion on what they like in a frame, boot, wheel, liner, etc. We don’t all have to ride the same skate fuckers. Wake up and realize that rollerblading is all about individuality. Even if they “ripped off a mold” or whatever they still changed it enough to be theirs. Technically speaking you could say that all frames are a rip off because they are all UNIVERSAL!!!! Goddamn I am so sick and tired of hearing people bitch about this shit. No wonder all the other “ACTION SPORTS” (bleh) look at us and laugh. We are like a bunch of infants fighting over one goddamn binky. Things will never change until we change. So check your pockets for change and if you don’t have any GTFO of rollerblading.
January 18th, 2012 at 8:12 am
Also, you people that say that Julio only cares about the future of valo: Do you think that he can care about valo without caring about rollerblading? No rollerblading… no valo. Fucking think this shit through first guys. Granted the whole “skater owned ” thing may just be a marketing ploy. However, I would rather give my hard earned cash to someone that knows about rollerblading and what it’s about rather than some giant german supercompany. Grassroots growth guys. Get behind it.
January 18th, 2012 at 8:43 am
“I was use these guys to make even more money :)” Jon Julio
that was amazing.
January 18th, 2012 at 10:15 am
about the ripped fonts people posted about, isn’t it possible to buy it somewhere? i guess that the artist is selling it, no?
of course it’s not really original to do a logo with an already done font, but well…
January 18th, 2012 at 4:31 pm
would love to see the out takes… i bet there is alot
January 18th, 2012 at 7:23 pm
if i was sat next to farmer i’d feel awkward the guy looks like a joke! he should be trying to make skating look cool he makes it look gay, lets see the old farmer we have respect for.
January 19th, 2012 at 2:18 am
I just want to say something about all the gay and fag talk when it comes to Farmer:
Calling Farmer gay or a fag is an insult to all homosexuals worldwide.
