Oh yeah almost forgot, fucking amazing edit. Truth was definately one of the best skate videos of modern times. Probably my favorite video purchase since Leading the Blind, and before that, Words, WDYBI, etc. I would be more than happy to put it on that sort of upper echelon with some of the greatest videos ever made. And that’s just skating wise, production wise it is phenomenal. Probably my favorite video to show to non-bladers because everything about it demands respect.
Can’t wait for Truth II, I know those guys will put out another incredible video.

All good videos, most of which i own, all of which i’ve seen, none of which changed the way I perceived blading. All of those videos (minus Them Apples*) were essentially trying to do what LTB did, but not doing it quite as well. The Truth went a whole new direction with rollerblading, where the focus %100 was style. Not just in the skating, but with the production quality and filming as well.
I also agree with the Haffey comment. He is like, the best rollerblader alive (no duh). And puts out the best and most progressive sections of any skater hands down. HOWEVER, I think that the truth, as a whole, is one of the most well-made videos of modern times. I am not a fucking noob, been in this shit for 11 years. I have shown many different videos to many different bladers and non-bladers alike, and out of the latter group, I always get the same response from the Truth: “Wow, rollerblading is actually pretty cool!”
Rant Summary: The Truth, while maybe not being the most progressive video trick-wise, makes blading look fucking INCREDIBLE to bladers and non-bladers alike.
(*Side comment: The apples series is fucking amazing and my rant does not pertain to these videos. Apple videos are in a genre of their own.)
