Team Rollerblade at Barn Burner 08, Jeff Dalnas Edit
I just got a mail from Jeff Dalnas:
I just finished the Rollerblade edit from Barn Burner.
We dedicated it to Josh Waggoner after his horrible accident that took place last week. As you know Tom Hyser is manager of the team and was close friends to Josh.
Julian Bah, David & Tom didn’t make it out to seattle for the comp. So it’s only Richie Velasquez, Rob G, and myself in this edit.

dope. I’m happy to see that they had fun at Barnburner and that they were nice enough to dedicate this edit to Josh. That’s dope, that’s love for someone they don’t even know.

I’m sorry guys, not to rag on you but, how could you show a helmet in the beginning of this clip that says “JOSH WAGGONER RIP” and then have some of your team skate with no helmets on?
I mean, you dedicated the clip to Josh, showed a helmet, yet you won’t wear it.
I think the intent is great but the execution horrible. You have an opportunity to send a message here, to make real difference.
Props to Richie and Robert for wearing helmets.
For those that think it’s cool to skate without a helmet because you don’t care if you get hurt, please take a moment to think of all the other people in your life that would be devasted if you had an fall that resulted in major head trauma. If not for yourself, wear a helmet for the other people that care about you.

the helmet that was shown in the beginning of the edit was richies. and he wore it thru out the whole edit.Also i skated with a helmet for the edit as well..
