Taylor Latouche: Double backflip 180 Slam @ Mind The Gap (Rennes, France)
French skater Taylor Latouche took a nasty slam with his double backflip 180 this weekend at the Rennes sur Roulettes festival.
Hopefully we will recover for the 2nd Mind the Gap stop in Eindhoven 25th of may.

Why do the French hucking style skaters REFUSE to grab their skates on spins and flips????? They seem to prefer grabbing their shins, which is not helpful in making the trick look good or proper execution. They need to visit Mathias Silhan and get tips on style to save face for the French blading reputations. Especially when most French contestants are simply doing tricks that were done 10 years ago with style by Feinberg, Lowe, Bergeron, & Nicky Adams

a double back flip is not the same as a double backflip 180. adding the 180 turns it into more of a flat spin, on the second rotation for sure if you watch the one he landed. And I don’t think even Haffey has landed his double flatspin over a normal launch box, just mega. I admit there may be one or two ASAs I missed back in the day where someone could have landed this exact same trick over a launch box (I remember the double backs, but flips aren’t as cool as dub flats), but if this trick hasn’t been seen since then, that’s saying something, isn’t it?
And 10 other bladers besides Stinsmen? you must be talking about vert.

people who can’t do backflips or are afraid to do them, always chop on people with the balls and talent to do them. go tap your p-rails and leave the hard tricks to Taylor and the other French skaters who are pushing the limits of rollerblading.

fucking lol.. thats why i said.. grab it.. as i said.. make a normal trick and make it look hard.. of course you cannot grab 2 backflip 180 because its very hard to keep up with control.. that why i said grab it.. rather do a fucking smooth 540 or 720 with a nice grab… sure you are doing a hard trick.. but if its not performed well… because its impossible to perform such a hard trick on a smooth steezy way… that why i said.. french people will never understand that..
