I know that most inliners don’t think that vert is the shit, but I think this guy should be well respected. He has invented so many vert tricks before the yasutokos were really good and he dominated the tour for years! I saw him skate in 1996 and in 1997 and he was very good back then, he was the only one who was able to do all his flips and spins both ways! He was Mr. Switch. He never was my favorite vert skater because he seemed to be a little above the others in his behavior, but he has his place in history of vert for sure!!!

Nice topic, Taig is one of the most experienced and long running pro vertskater around. Like him or not, he has definitely earned respect in all those years, including mine.

One reason a lot of us started rolling is that we saw it first on verts with those crazy spins and flips!! All those haters should shut the fuck up cuz vert is part of our culture! I think vert skaters don’t get the respect they deserve! Those who think that vert is gay should try by themselves! I love street , I love park and I also love vert rolling since muthafukers I love this fukin lifestyle! I love rolling and if you loved it to you wouldn’t be hating so much! There should be more vert and park sessions on rolling videos! there should be more exposure in every style of our culture!! Peace

Who cares if it’s vert, jump or street. If is soccer, skate, tennis or even if you are a teacher. JUST BE GOOD IN WHAT YOU DO. And don’t judge someone who is been Worldchampion number 1 in this planet. I wanna know who is been number one in his profession here, let’s see… All this racism between skateboarder and inliners is RIDICULOUS and PATHETIC. You just “play” the cool, but you are all kids.
