The tutorial for ramp skating are allright and he was a one of the best vert skater for sure, i cross the man twice in public event and he is smilefull so what else we ask, this is not street skating spirit of course he’s a vert skater…

I loved every single run! Especially the final run in the bowl is incredible! Grinding the corners, airing through the corners, putting naturel and switch spins en flips in between… One of the best lines I’v ever seen.

This guy is good at vert and won contests and shit, and he showed blading to people from that time and that’s cool. But, his time has just passed. It’s time to respect and admire bladers like haffey killing it in nitro circus.
This dude just wants to be famous in france doing all this disco thing you can see in his youtube account (wich is pretty lame) and that lame drop in the eiffel tower. this dude is not representing blading anymore.
We have to take care of the image we are giving to our sport.

* Post videos of himself doing a sexy car wash
* Gather large crowds to watch him jump into balloons in full armor
* Make a website of himself with wings on his back and call it a social network
If youre wondering why some people here find him annoying its because of the things he does off the vert ramp, its like if Dustin Latimer showed up in a viagra commercial.
One more thing: aside from double backflip 90% of his tricks are not super difficult it just seems that way because nobody skates vert

That’s just rediculous man, saying his tricks aren’t difficult. This guy did lots of very hard tricks. Anyone knows that doing spins in vert above the coping is much harder than doing the same tricks on a jump box.
I can do 900 over a jump box. But I know I will never lern it in an air on a vert quarter. And swich spins on vert are even harder. Also double backflip wasn’t his hardest trick. Taig invented double flatspin!!!!!! No one did it before him. And even more important:
Taig invented the FLATSPIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the most influencial tricks from the 90′s.

I grew up in the 90′s and remember well what Taig did for our sport.
I understand kids that grew up in the new millennium don’t know this but Taig invented so many tricks. I made a list of tricks I remember. He probably invented more tricks.
Taig was the inventor of:
Flatspin 540
Gato spin (kind of 720 corkscrew in quarterpipe)
Garfunkle (faky upside down 360 flatspin)
Flatspin 900
Double flatspin
He also won the X games and was the first to do a double backflip in a competition.
You kids may shit on Taig, but you are imitating him everytime you try doing a decent flatspin in a foampit. A trick he invented and learned more than 15 years before you on a 4 meters high vert ramp.

Double backflips have been around forever people were doing them at woodward for years, he was just the first to do it in competition he did not invent them.
Jon Bergeron made flat spins popular, Taig did not invent them.
Cesar Mora was doing Gato Spins well before Taig.
Garfunkle is not named that, that’s a Viking flip, and Rene Hulgreen has been doing those since before Taig was even skating.
And double flat spins and flat spin 900s were the yasutoko brothers, not Taig.
Know your history Mr. I grew up in the 90s.
Bottom line is he’s a whore. Pay him a few bucks and he’ll promote tampons. Just because he has a hi light reel from 15 years ago doesn’t mean he doesn’t make himself look like a clown today. Respect to his old stuff but his new stuff is embarrassing.

Taig Khris definately was the first ever to do double flatspin and flat 900. He was the first one doing double back flip in a contest run. Matt Lindenmuth did the first double back flip ever.

Hi guys i normaly don’t comment here but give the man his respect.
I have been skating vert and street for over 17 jears and YES Taig did invent all these tricks. He was one of the most progressive rollerbladers of his time. He also introjuced the flatspin. This trick became popular and people started doing it on de street course. It’s a shame many people don’t know this any more.
I’m not a fan of his latest ‘work’ but he paved the way!
