Our first encounter with Pro Undercover wheels was about year ago – thanks to TheConference and Przemek Madej, together with Basza and Petmen we got the chance to test new formula wheels which would have been the revolution in aggressive wheel manufacture.
Back than our impressions were really high but they didn’t last long – the urethane was superb, the grip was great and they were incredibly fast, yet after some time it turned out that the product wasn’t 100% perfect. The main problem was the core – we got feedback from many people who were disappointed too. After short venture with the most expensive wheels on the market, we got back to riding Eulogy.
During the summer`09 Przemek Madej was filming for his section in TheTrutnies DVD – TheConference hooked him up with the new version of the Pro Undercover wheels, which according to the producer eliminated the weak core problem. After 3 weeks of getting clips, finished with three huge gaps attempts together with Basza we checked closely Madej`s wheels – surprisingly the wheels held up very good, no decoring, no chunks – without hesitation I equipped my Valos with brand new set of Undercover – Demetrious George 09. Austin’s Wheel is the first one hot off the presses. will hopefully have them all cut, printed, and packaged next week… oh but I better sit on them so they cure!!
Just so you’re informed wheels in the 87-95 Shore. A scale range cure in about a week. So by the time they are poured to the time they are packaged is roughly 10 days. All the time you need.
Oh, and here’s a sneak peak of the direction the wheels will be heading in graphic wise. We’re thinking about doing a 60mm and a 59mm as well. comment on if you think that’s a good direction for us.
