Timm has had a great year in 2009, having released a number of top notch edits with his smooth and stylish skating. He has been taking time out to shoot some photos exclusively for The Conference, and we made sure to get an interview to accompany the shots. Read on!
Photos by Sascha Krautz, Alexander Mersdorf and Bartholomaus Zientek.

Oli Benet: Hey Timm, first off, tell me where you are from, and how old you are, and how long you have been skating.
Timm Kittlitz: Hey! I am from Cuxhaven. That’s a small town near Hamburg directly at the Northern Sea in Germany. Right now I am 20 years old and I’ve been skating for around 12 Years now with some breaks.
Oli Benet: Before about a year ago, I have to admit I had never heard of your skating. Then suddenly edits and photos appeared, and they really were outstanding, both in skill and style level. What are the reasons behind this?
Timm Kittlitz: Haha. Well I have been on Grindhouse since 2006 and on USD since 2007 so maybe you should have heard of me before but that’s okay haha. My parents forced me to do Ice-Skating when I was around 3 or 4. But I got to learn it with the age of 5. And so some years later I started to play Inline-Hockey in a rather professional way. My dad was a coach and trainer back in the days. So I got to be safe on skates quite early even before I started to do Aggressive-Skating with the age of 8. And yes, as far as I can see it’s some time ago and so I got on quite well doing that rolling thing during the years. 12 Years is a long time and I am not even that good for 12 years of experience.
