Jamie Stenner

6 weeks ago Jamie Stenner dislocated his elbow. Although he was told by the doctors to chill and do physio for a total of around 12 weeks, Jamie couldn’t wait any more.

So when he was sent the New Dre Powell Pro boots he gave me a call and asked to shoot this little edit with him. Also featuring Andy Spary.

California Memories 2010 by Sim Warren

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

So there was 8 of us. Myself, Jake Eley, Joe Atkinson, Julian Coulture, Sam Tuffnell, Keith Wisdom, Jamie Stenner and Jamie’s wife Rikki.

It was the AIL finals at Woodward West – combined with a further week of skating, whale watching, beaching and chillaxing.

Now, this trip happened in November and I have no excuses as to why it’s now the end of August 2011 and it’s just coming out now.

However, I finally got round to spending some time on this edit so that those who went and for those who didn’t can see what happened at the AIL finals in woodward and a few extra bits.

Filmed & Edited by Sim Warren. Shot on a Canon 7D. Additional GoPro shots: Jake Eley.

Songs in order of appearance: American Men – AM System (Hudson Mohawke Remix), Digitalism – Zdarlight, Crystal Castles – Air War, Improv by Street Performers Venice Beach.
Devotchka – How it Ends.

The NASS Experience 2011

Once a year everybody comes together from all over the world to reunite, get drunk, camp under the stars, meet new people, play games, poo themselves & rollerblade.

So I wanted to make a highlight edit that would capture the experience as a rollerblader. Massive thanks to Andrew Pearce for helping the whole weekend and joining me in victory of the beer pong championships! Huge thanks to Joe Coyne and the Kingdom peeps for doing a great job of organising & judging the event.

Mike Welland: Unused Clips, Edit by Sim Warren

mike welland

It’s fair to say, Mike Welland has been in the game for as long as I can remember, inspiring thousands of skaters over the years. So I had to put some old clips together last night of some clips lurking about my computer.

Clips I’m not sure if they’d been used, but needed to be seen and not forgotten. Mike’s just getting over a few injuries recently and returned home from touring in Arizona over the past few weeks, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of him in the not so distant future. – Sim Warren (via).
