Oli Short has spent the past few months at home in the UK and finally recovering after a pretty serious knee injury.

‘The past few months have been really busy considering I haven’t been able to skate! It’s been a real headache not being able to just bounce out the house and Rip down to the local park and shred when I’ve had that intolerable itch! But the short time off my blades presented me with some extra time to transfer my focus and self _expression elsewhere. I got to spend a lot of time working on various projects with different people some skate related others outside the hub!

There have been a few UK Industry meetings which have been Very Productive. We now have a good group of people out here who care a lot about rollerblading and are coming together to strengthen the UKs industry. I’ve been spending more time traveling and filming with the young and hungry UK skaters who have been killing the streets of Britain.

I have started working with Shiner Distribution in the UK, we are one of the biggest distributors in Europe and have a lot of big plans for the up and coming future!

Roces in the UK is booming! and has picked up some new blood for there UK team, consisting of Alex Jones Ollie Gomm, Joby Dick and one of the best female skaters in the world Jenna Downing! Yes that right Jenna is Rocking Roces!

Carl Sturgess and Jeff Stockwell just went home after a short visit to England where we got to hang out and get some clips for the soon to be complete Heat Team video’.
