I met Richie in Sydney in 2009, and although we only hung out for the best part of a year, I can safely say that he has had a positive impact on my life. Richie is one of those people that you want to be around whether it be skating or just chilling.
In celebration of his 30th Birthday, here is his full section from Vine St. Happy Birthday cunt!

USD Carbon II, Press Release
Everyone has their own tastes but when it comes to our USD team the Carbon 2 has had the most enthusiastic response we have ever had on a skate model. In fact so many of our die-hard hardboot riders are making the shift to the Carbon 2 skate.
These skates are hand made and are 1 boot per size. This makes control, comfort and look all the more perfect. Add to this the fact that they are the lightest skate in rolling made with the most expensive and abrasion resistant materials and you have what could potentially be the best skates ever. That’s for you to decide yourself!
The first shipment of these Carbon 2 skates arrive this week so snap them up while you still can, or at least before our entire team claims

I’ve been skating my Carbon IIs for almost four months now. Best blades I’ve ever skated. Hands down. They are the smallest and lightest boots I’ve ever ridden, super comfortable, the new cuff concept has fixed the previous forward flex issue while still remaining very supportive… And they look badass.
Recently, the high quality of these blades really hit me. I was looking down at them and they are still in great shape. While everyone I have been skating with has worn out their respective blades and is on their second or third pair, the Carbon IIs are fine. The materials are very high quality and it makes a difference. In the four months that I’ve had them, I’ve skated hard almost every single day; filming for Vine St, shooting park edits, all types of street, cess slides, gaps, ledges, etc. and they’re still going strong.
