2009.04.15 ; quoting a mail from Oli Benet:
The rumors are true.
The skate brand USD and the legendary Rachard Johnson have parted ways.
As the years pass and new skaters push the boundaries of the sport it seems unfair not to give the chance for new stars to shine.
As the years pass the sport continues to fail to grow in strength and the world crisis darkens, we had to take a look at our team situation and react accordingly.
We would like to sincerely thank Rachard Johnson for his many years of Loyalty to USD and his work in helping USD get to where it is on the map.
Rachard Johnson will always be one of the key figures in making USD what it is today.

Rachard Johnson & Julian Bah were featured on a fashion website. Link
So I was chillin in Harlem this weekend…being a Brooklynite, I honestly never make the trek, so while up there I couldn’t help but scout for fashionable people. I snapped these two young men (photo above).
…from their graphic t-shirts to saggy jeans, Jordans, medallions, and hats, they epitomized real street style. I asked a few questions, and turns out they’re actually part of Jim Jones’ Diplomats Skate Team (called Dipskate). I wasn’t too familiar, but sounds cool!
So what do you think of this representation of Harlem’s style?
Smootches!
Thanks Rando.

As we are all well aware now, the Nobody Cares contest has come and gone with the winners being announced. What may not be known to some of you is that those three winners are set to join one person who has been a part of the brand since day one.
When I first met Rachard it was for a new video I was working on at the time called F.O.R. 2. A photographer named Zach Podell told us about this guy who he felt was the next big thing in the sport. I heard some rumblings here and there and although Rawlinson to this day swears he found Rachard, the truth is Zach is the one who introduced him to me. Rachard says that although Zack had some form of neck cancer, hooked up with many porn stars, and at one point pulled an AK-47 on him for not wanting to skate he was a “pretty cool dude.†[...]
