Xsjado and Mindgame Counterfeits in China

Xsjado Mook Frames Counterfeit
1. Take a look at the top picture above, the frames and the packaging artwork seem to be familiar. The frames are a Xsjado copy, the brand (and you might find this funny) is Moon (doesn’t that sound close to Mook, which is the name Xjsado uses ?).
2. The artwork on the packaging comes from the Quality Dvd by Dustin Latimer & Jb Snyder, they just took the dvd’s cover artwork (featuring the Latimer silhouette) and added a Moon at the top right.
The frames are sold in Beijing (China) by Zhou Jian, owner of the Tornado Club shop (thanks O22y).

Mindgame Website March 2006 Update

Remember that little company Xsjane ran when his name was still spelt with an ‘S’? Well, he’s been busy, they updated their site and it’s now fully stocked with the new line - and a video bomb has officially been dropped:
Yes, we are planning a new Mindgame team video for the end of the year. We are just in the early stages of it now, but what we have so far is looking great…

- Mindgame Spring 2006 line available March 27th: Chris Farmer Ed.III Pro-Wheel, Brian Aragon Ed.II Pro-Wheel, Higgs Boson Ed.II Anti-Rocker Wheel, Streamline Ed.IV Backpack, new tees and caps.
- New T-shirt Cut: Our new tees have a slimmer fit and a more consistent and proportional shrink after washing. No baggy sleeves or stretched neck tapes.

medium was owned by bravo corporation, which is still very much around today, not Xsjane. tribe was Bravo’s aggressive distribution brand name. Bravo killed off a lot of its companies to concentrate on Senate when skating started shrinking in the late nineties- grand, color theory, 976, etc.
Xsjane started Mindgame himself after Medium tanked, the two companies are unrelated other than Xsjane’s involvement. i personally think Medium was badass, and i’ll always miss it, but i think Mindgame’s way better.
i like typing Xsjane instead of Shane.
