Last summer Brian and Hakeem let me crash at the C.O. house for a while… basically all summer. I really love skating Boston, the scene’s full of good spots and cool, well-rounded skaters.
Just staying with Brian and Hakeem gave me a ton of time to film and test new products, especially during the beginning of the summer when I was healthy and just juiced all the time because school was out and weather was perfect. I wasn’t just testing new frames, but ended up messing with different skates and frame sizes as well.
Unfortunately, after injuring my knee on a vacation in Colombia I had to chill for a while. But, while on vacation there I met some of the nicest, coolest people and did things I never thought I would ever do like paraglide over the beautiful mountains in Bucaramanga and chill in Medellín.
Mark Wojda visits the Powerhouse Studios in Barcelona for two weeks. Shredding ensues.
Song is: Cowgirl In The Sand by Neil Young and Crazy Horse.
The Powerhouse Studios, Barcelona
The Conference and Powerslide have moved together to create a skater haven in Barcelona, Spain. Powerhouse is a place for creativity, productivity and comfort.
Mark Wojda was the first guest to stay at the Powerhouse. He skated hard every time we left the house and produced an edit that would take most people months to complete.
Everyone knows that Mark is a shredder, but I really enjoyed watching him in person.
He really pushes himself, frequently rising above his own high standards for skating. But enough from me, I’ll let Mark take over to give more insight on his stay…
Here are tons of Bolino and Wojda clips that were not used in genre is dead. This footage is between 1-4 years old but still super good. Pick up a copy at your local skateshop today. Edited By Dustin Raysik.

Am Team rider Mark Wojda joined the team last summer in 2009.
This edit features a few of the tricks that went down during his first couple of sessions on his CO frames.
Mark has been recovering from an injury he acquired last September at The Last Man standing competition in New York City and will be back at full force shortly.
He has recently gotten back on his blade and in a few weeks you can look forward to the first of a series of edits involving Mark and his daily routine as a Boston University student, so watch out, cause Woj-da the Soj-da is coming back stronger than ever.
Mark Wojda, filmed in Lousville Ky by Dustin Black ; Additional footage shot by Jeff Dalnas.
Mark will be chilling with the Pro Team (Franky, Haffey, Connor, and Woodster) for the next week or two in Woodward for the Remz weeks (and Denial week), and at the Windy City Riot in Chicago next weekend.
