Joe Atkinson‘s been a driving force in the UK scene for a while as well as charging through the AIL last year in the States and many mainland European events. At the young age of 19 he’s got a bright future ahead of him.
This edit was filmed over just a few sessions this past summer by Adam Kola, Ben Shelbourne and Ollie Thomas and edited by Joe himself.
For more coverage of Joe make sure to keep checking theconferenceuk.blogspot.com and also new UK DVD by RollCam featuring a full length profile with Joe dropping in 2012 (trailer).

quoting Zebastian Cassel:
Couple of clips i shot with Joe Atkinson during his Sweden visit during the Linkoping Skateweek. I had not seen Joe in a couple of years and as always when this guy shows up theres is some crazy shit going down, from climbing balconies and doing badass skids with his bike to lacing insane tranfers.
He actually found a bike while walking along the small river in Linkoping and he named her “Donna” and she was well used during his stay in Sweden.
Joe managed to take the 1th place and the K2 best trick award at the park-comp and continued to shine on the daily demo’s with his flawless technical skating, we were really happy to have him over for the event.
Riding for USD and already climbing fast on the ladder getting known across Europe and America he is surely one of those guys you should keep an eye out for.
I wish him the best in the future and hope to see him soon.

Joe Atkinson has been making an impact on the UK scene over the last few years. Constantly ranking high in competitions, whacking out multiple edits of his street skating escapades and just recently picking up new shop sponsor Loco skates to go alongside his Conference entourage.
Joe and i have been shooting photos to go towards a mini interview in French magazine Rolls, below are a few leftover pictures from those sessions and a little Q&A with the chap. [...]

Not long back I travelled to Leeds to film a little one day edit with Joe Atkinson.
The weather wasn’t on our side as you can see, so we ventured to the Works Skatepark after a bit of street.

Joe won the Richard John Taylor Scholarship Award at Slamm Jamm this year which will see it take him to compete at the AIL World Finals in 2010. Joe also placed 3rd at slamm jamm meaning this took him into the finals over at woodward.
The story also goes wile filming this over the summer and autumn, Joe broke my macbookpro (in his sleep) broke swains and lomaxs bong, pissed me off made me smile, gave me some one liners I wont forget but over all showed me that he is one of the most consistent skaters around.

After the Unit 1 jamm, Joe Atkinson went back with Sim Warren & Andrew Halls to skate their local skatepark, Revolution!
Filmed by Sim Warren, here’s what they got during their session.

Joe Atkinson (15 years old) – *ukskate* skate park. New Chimera rider.
