Due to strong demand Ground Control decided to make a special edition frame for one of its most outstanding riders: Mike “Murda†Johnson.
It comes in Murda’s signature red color and features all the benefits that make the Featherlite ones of the best performing frames in the industry: Extreme stiffness, light weight and maximum strength.
Sizes:
Size 1 (recommended boot size: 6-7)
Size 2 (recommended boot size: 8-14)

Price:
MSRP: $44.90

The Featherlite Frame keeps what its name promises: 22% less weight than traditional GC frames yet stronger than ever.
This revolutionary design is the brainchild of Stefan “Horn” Horngacher, one of Europe’s most progressive and innovative skaters. His idea was to make a solid one piece frame, increase the wall thickness in the grinding area but significantly reducing it in the upper area where it will never touch the ground.
The result is a frame which is extremely stiff, light weight and provides maximum strength. The featherlite frame also incorporates GC’s signature symmetrical design and low profile..
Thanks Chris.

5 years after GC’s Murda freestyle frame revolutionized the industry Ground Control took the concept to a whole new level: The Formula 1 Freestyle frame comes with a new oversized H-Block which covers over 80 % of the frame and offers the first true wheel-to-wheel freestyle H-Block.
This concept was made possible by a patented 3-point attachment system which secures the h-block all the way through the base of the frame and the sole of the boot giving it enormous strength and rigidity. Special sickle shaped axle bolt heads increase the crucial material thickness below the axle holes and allow convenient one hand operation.

As the inventor of the deep H-block and pioneer of the freestyle frame concept, Ground Control decided to take the concept to a whole new level: Center piece of the Formula 1 frame is an oversized H-Block which extends over 80 % of the frame and provides a true cost efficient solution to replace it when worn down.
This concept was made possible by a patented 3-point attachment system which secures the h-block all the way through the base of the frame and the sole of the boot. This creates a frame which is unmatched in stiffness, strength and durability. Special sickle shaped axle bolt heads increase the crucial material thickness below the axle holes and allow convenient one hand operation.
Both versions got raving test reviews by Brian Shima, Jeff Stockwell and Chris Haffey.
The new Ground Control Formula One frames will be availble this Christmas. They will be available in both a flat version and a freestyle version featuring GC’s new innovative h-block system which makes up 80% of the frame.
These frames have been tested by Chris Haffey, Jeff Stockwell and Brian Shima for the past 3 months and are indestructable. These guys have fallen in love with the most solid and durable frame in the industry. Via
