Dedicated by Dirk Oelmann, A Berlin Blading Flick

Quoting Dirk Oelmann:

Dedicated is a flick about the Berlin rollerblading scene. I collected footage over the last year (2011) from all the people I blade with to make this little flick happen.

Hedonskate: Dedicated, Trailer

My intention is not to make a video about the hardest rollerblading in Germany or Europe, but to show that there are a bunch of people blading and enjoying this beautiful sport.

In Berlin there are many oldschool people like Jochen Smuda, Tim Wolff or Ben Harmanus who skated for more than two decades and still do ; not as much as back in the days, but still on a high level and with lots of passion.

Personally I enjoy this kind of skating when people, friends meet and go rolling together to have a good session but not to destroy themselves, just to get a certain fame!

I think Berlin blading stands for that, we go blading because we love it. We work for the industry as fashion designer, graphic designer, photographers or film maker almost for nothing just to keep the sport alive! We hustle but we keep on doing it because we believe in it.

Our first Hedonskating in Berlin turned out to be quite successful, so it’s time to take it to the next level!

This time Hedonskate invites everybody for another session or we better call it – blading weekend in Berlin! We are more than happy to announce European premiere of the long awaited Vibralux DVD “Pariah” followed by screening of Berlin rollerblading flick: “Dedicated” which will take place Saturday 24th of March.

If the premiere gets you juiced, make sure to join us next day. Sunday will be the day of Hedonskating #2 at the local skatepark. Bladers only!
