Having written about Victor in different media outlets a few times already, I might fail at stating anything new or truly original today.
I’m just like you actually: I watch his skating progress and I can’t help but be amazed by the fast pace he’s been keeping, on the fast lane to blade fame. Frenchy Fries Article.

Bonus: Rumble on the macadam, Frenchy Fries Edit
Sometimes, trying to reminisce certain events is kinda like exploring a hazy dream.
As a pretty mean crew gathered in Brussels the night before the Rumble On The Macadam session, those who didn’t wake up with a sore throat still had to deal with sleep deprivation and a serious hangover… Which doesn’t help writing this article much. [...]

There are friends you see every day. There are friends you’ve known for your entire existence. And there are friends that live in places far away, whom you only get to see once in a while.
Needless to say, it makes the time you spend with them that much more valuable. Here is how the group of friends known as the 5ème B. got to spend their summer together. Full article on Frenchy Fries ; edit by 21lifestyles.

Despite the shitty weather and wet spot, the Foch Invitational was quite an incredible event!
As Remy previously stated, very few actually skated, while many others watched, but the SSM crew sure brought the heat! Victor Legrand, Louis Vilar & Remy Meister put on quite a show for the crowd in attendance, both Victor & Remy got hurt in the process, but the result sure was amazing to watch, and now here’s your chance to catch a glimpse of it, too! It has become quite a common habit in the fashion world to see established brands working in collaboration with renowned artists in order to come up with something fresh and new, adding some extra flavor to the usual clothes.
Well, rollerblading is no exception really, and this time French brand Arcena worked together with Montpellier’s local, JFC activist, graffiti artist and ESA organizer Salamech to bring you a special tee-shirt for the event.

If you’ve been blading for a while, you might have noticed some changes in the way you skate, and the way you think about it, too.
It’s not really a matter of getting old, just maturing and evolving with a sport that truly became a part of us. That is also why it so great to see young folks coming up and stepping up the plate skating wise!

Jonas Hansson makes the best looking videos in our industry, period. Be it for online release or full movies, he’s always raising the bar and his cold, nordic visuals and experimental soundtracks have definitely left a distinctive mark.
Bringing up rollerbladers like Jacob Juul or Kare Lindberg with him in the spotlight, Jonas sure is one of Rollerblading’s brightest talent [...]. Full FFries Article.

Some people just like it rough. Rough skating, raw style and harsh landings. That could sum up Remy Meister‘s attitude quite well. His raw and instinctive skating, and his unrefined style sure make him stand out on the actual scene of top European skaters.
Remy thinks fast, and he acts fast. His skating is spontaneous, and that’s what makes it so great. That’s also why it is so hard to properly capture it on film. In the past couple of years, we tried to get clips with Remy every chance we’d get, but there’s a number of things that also got in the way… Broken bones and booze, just to name of few. [...]

Frenchy Fries Edit & Report
Unplanned events can turn into the greatest of success sometimes.
24 hours prior to the B4 Winterclash Battle at the infamous Forward Freestyle skatepark, I had no clue I would actually be present to witness the madness unfold. Mind you, I only live 500kms away from Roeselare… [...]

up: Collage by AL, St Martin Park.
As many artists, AL offers a contrasting, often conflicting personality Unlike many others, though, he is also really talented.
I don’t know about the first part, but the latter is most probably the reason why he was picked to be the latest addition to the Arcena support team, both as a skater and a street artist! [...]

The history of this sport is full of ambitious plans, which later turned into epic failures, aborted projects and defunct companies.
It was quite ambitious indeed for the people at the FISE to produce a rollerblading DVD series, distributed in most supermarkets and malls, throughout the entire country. And it was great while it lasted!

Rollerbladers have always been in search for new terrain, new obstacles to learn old tricks, or invent some new ones.
However, throughout the many years and phases, it seems that most stuck with the idea that ledges & rails were all that street skating had to offer.
Well, sometimes it’s good to step outside the common path, and take a walk out in the woods. [...]

Erik Bailey & Erik Bill skating a few parks around Boise, ID. Guest appearances by Ross Kuhn & Cameron Talbott.
Erik Bill got hurt before the sweet skatepark.

Video Offline.
Frenchy Fries: Erik Bill Article
quoting Erik Bill:
My involvement with video is another classic situation, really. I started with a big old VHS-C camera and became obsessed with trying to capture the way a session felt.
I noticed as time progressed that just having the camera around was pushing my friends and me to learn things that we may not have tried without it. Obviously that’s continued and having the camera at hand is more important than ever !
I use a Canon XH-A1. My roommate recently picked one up as well and he’s learning the ropes quickly and shooting some second angles. In the past I’ve made all the typical moves with the little handycams and VX’s and all that. [...]
I skate with a mix of lifelong friends and people that I grew up admiring. Erik Bailey lives about 5 minutes from me and we skate just about everyday when he’s home.
Obviously, he’s easy to work with. I skate with everyone involved in the NDN edits. Even when we aren’t skating, the homies are usually together having fun one way or another. It’s great. There’s also a lot of buds that come to town every chance they get. [...]
