I’ve always wondered why this guy was on the pro team, I’ve never seen anything amazing out of him. But some of those tricks, both street and park, were ridiculous. Awesome edit.
May 17th, 2009 at 8:21 pm
@digi:
I think he didn´t get a lot of exposure in the US but in europe he´s been holdin it down for almost 15 years as a pro. I´ve always admired that he can skate street, vert and park on a very high level! And he´s doing a lot for the sport by holding events and demos.
People are of course allowed to think whatever they want about rollerblade as a company but sven is a true professionel!
May 17th, 2009 at 8:42 pm
i never gave this guy enough credit. he’s been holding it down since the early days of ASA. too bad none of you young guys have any idea what i’m talking about. that was some good rollerblading and stunting.
May 17th, 2009 at 8:53 pm
“who is this guy?”
Come on, a little bit of rollerblading culture. Sven has been killing it for years anywhere (vert, park, street, etc) being a true allterrain rollerblader, (Rollerblading is a lot more that skating ledges and rails..)
You poppys should have a little bit of respect for someone who was throwing true fishys in 97 before you ever wonder that was possible.
This kind of attitude is exactly what helps our sport grow… good job kids
May 17th, 2009 at 9:11 pm
Yep amazing skater, he is in his late 20 and still got as much power as younger skaters, skate: park, big-ramp,street… And organise skate event, no I never underestimated him, he is very, very good. But maybe too clean, too profesionnal, not “enough rebel” or should i said mature, that maybe why he is not pleased by everyone.
May 17th, 2009 at 9:30 pm
Wow He was like old school a few months edits ago, but in this one he seems so hot…
it’s nice to see him skating streets that hard after all those years of Vert!
May 17th, 2009 at 10:08 pm
Hahaha , he’s only been skating vert in competition!
He mostly skates park , street , and miniramp and such.
Lovely edit , hammers.
May 18th, 2009 at 12:43 am

May 18th, 2009 at 12:51 am
He is awesome….. nice edit.
May 18th, 2009 at 1:23 am
haha dudes got his own website.
how anyone can stay this consistent and good after so many years, is crazy.
May 18th, 2009 at 1:24 am
that was immense
the fools whos eyes are closed attempt to smell this edit and as a result dont understand.
May 18th, 2009 at 2:08 am
Sven was amazing during the ASA/B3 sports competition days, and it’s awesome to see he is still repping hard and going big. Very few people can skate every terrain with skill, but Sven is one of them. Respect from the USA!
May 18th, 2009 at 2:20 am
very very nice edit….
May 18th, 2009 at 2:55 am
This guy is Foreign as shit, I don’t need this in my life. Not watching.

“wtf Says:

Are you serious? Typical internet retard. Guy throws some of the hardest possible tricks on the terrain he skates, skates ALL terrains and you start bitching about style? GTFO and go skate your damn p-rail or something. Maybe in 10 years you might understand how hardcore Sven is.

You’re a retard. There’s a world outside of the states you know. Sven is one of the best, and has been for around 15 years.
May 18th, 2009 at 8:35 am
wow.. some sick shit!!! Respect sven!
May 18th, 2009 at 9:52 am
why are people hating on this guy i though the edit was good, and some very hard tricks in there.
May 18th, 2009 at 10:22 am
…@ lemon: foreign as shit???? Oh my god….well at least you had the writing-skills to express that bullshit. How´s life as a 400 kilogramm cyber-nerd anyway???

SVEN IS A LEGEND
May 18th, 2009 at 5:36 pm
One of the best all-around rollerbladers ever. He can tear a street course apart. Nice edit.
May 19th, 2009 at 12:46 am
Sven is one of the best all round skaters in the world.
True fishbrain on vert. That ao fish on street. I’m happy to have had the chance to skate with him, he’s one of my top 5.
Its good to see other skaters in their late 20s putting it down and showing rollerblading that its not all about the latest kid on skates.
Congratulations Sven, that was an incredible section.

Any of you who dont give respect to this guy you dont have a fuckin clue what the skate scene is about. This guy is a true entrepreneur and the only one who has ever killed the tripple crown.
Been skating for like 16 years now, in the very beginning Sven was already killing it so freakin hard, throwing tricks that you lame ass kids can only dream about.
Please if you dont know him or dont get what this is all about remove yourself from the skatescene and buy yourself some bike or skateboard and dont bother us with your presence any longer. Thanks
May 19th, 2009 at 10:08 am
best sven edit ever. his style got better with the years
May 21st, 2009 at 1:08 am
wow, one of the most well-rounded sections i have seen…EVER! maybe his style isn’t as nice as aragon or haffey, but everyone is an individual and there should be no questioning his ability or versatility, or hammers!
i wouldn’t be surprised to see him on TV in 5 or even 10 years or whenever rollerblading park comps make it back on TV, not surprised at all!
