I’d be pissed unless USD gave them the rights.
February 12th, 2010 at 3:47 pm
USD SHOULD SUE!
February 12th, 2010 at 4:26 pm
Maybe it is USD (powerslide) under a different name …
February 12th, 2010 at 4:39 pm
that just proves that we’re awesome :)
February 12th, 2010 at 4:56 pm

ya wow the wisest thing ive heard all year, rollerblading putting their ideas into other markets will bring in mad doe, plus rollerblading aint for pussies, rollerblading is easy, thats why everyone does it right? wrong… the better you get the harder it gets, skateboarders wish they could skate everthing in sight but they look down at spots while rollerbladers look up at spots hahha ,, if you can flip a batton you can flip a skateboard

hilarious. i knew the Conference was willing to be retarded.
That blue tumor plate looks sick. USD is dumb they didnt release something like that in the skate world.
February 12th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
USD could be selling their patents or the right to use those to interested companies. it’s a good move and makes sense plus could lead to more revenue from other markets which they can then use for both that market and rolling.
i’d be interested to know more about this.

With the huge diversity that Powerslide has in so many different leisure markets I find it infuriating that they don’t pay health insurance for their in line pros, and they STILL dared to release that post about “the conference goes direct”.
SHAME!!!!!!
February 12th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
I agree, the “the conference goes direct” is such a fucking gimmick, just like everything USD does.
Get this, nothing was ever heard about after the “coference goes direct” line.
Stupid fucking gimmick and weakness on the part of the Conference.

I feel a lawsuit coming on!!!! Lets take advantage and milk that money!
February 12th, 2010 at 9:28 pm
so the top boot is for snowboarding and the bottom is for skiing?
February 13th, 2010 at 2:22 am
I have a feeling that powerslide never owned the molds but had an exclusive use contract for ten years. Ten years have passed since the first thrones and the factory probably can sell them as an “open boot” model like the cults.
February 13th, 2010 at 2:41 am
that could be true, but razors never owned the superflat/cult/whatever you wanna call it shells, they were made by a company called Goodman. they were just a very plain basic skate shell that they built upon. one of the first usd’s that they made used the same shell before they made the throne shells.

in their site, they got a set up that looks just like the old arlo’s white shell, grey cuff, & flat tumor where the rider’s name was on the tumor. petty ride’s them in elements 2, man i always wanted to get those skates or the super dark blue petty’s those were classickz!!
