No offense, but why does all that new stuff, except for Mindgame, Heat and Vibralux…look as if it had been infected by a hello-kitty desease? Plug-ugly shit…

what the…. Wasnt expecting guy crawford in that at all, sick though UK represent! Looks well nice, and real cool pics.
Lukas - All the new stuff like B-Unique, Stygma, Valo etc are great because there the first bldaing clothes that actually LOOK GOOD. Andthe new mindgame range really does suck, so ugly, boring, and depressingly un nice.

…what do you mean by look good? So you can club-hopp in ´em? Thats freakin´ capitalist “lets go out and advertise your ass”-shit…always like how rollerblading was not about making itself a brand-based thing…
August 30th, 2006 at 2:41 pm
…forgot a d there….and I still think thats heading into the wrong direction…

Hey Lukas, it’s more about creating something that you can be comfortable with when your skating and when you are just living a life outside rollerblading, I don’t really understand what your talking about with all the capitalist advertise your ass stuff, it doesnt really make any sense to me, surely rollerblading has always had brands? surely wearing a rollerblading focused brand to work, school, party can only be good for rollerblading?
Recently there was a MTV presentator head to foot in stygma gear, this can only be good for us man, i really want to take this brand in the direction of high street stores, rollerblading is weak weak weak now, brands are dropping like flies, so we have to look to make it stronger by having a stronger image and quality brands.
Stygma is 100% rollerblading so everything we do is to make rollerblading stronger, and we have really tried to fill a gap in style, to keep away from en extremist hip hop or rock style.
But fairs fair, if you don’t like it its cool, haha.
Also check out the catalogue on front page, there is a lot of clothing not shown in these photos, like the new hoody, jeans and a couple of t shirts.
Thanks to all for the comments.

…pretty cool you answered to my post…it´s not that I wouldn´t want rollerblading to grow or to become more than another trend that vanished, but I kinda hate the way everything goes pop…not exclusively concerning rollerblading…but a lot of things…I like the art and I know how it´s important for us to urn money…but in a way that is what´s sad…we love what we do and try to stay real but still we are somehow becoming a part of something that might go in a direction we don´t want to be drawn to… It´s hard to explain… you do good work…don´t mistake me for a hater… just thought about it a lot…

Its one thing turning into a big comercial thing, but i dont think rollerblading will ever get there. The other is getting enough so that the greatest pros in rollerblading who risk theyre lives for photos and sections are getting paid about half as much as the spotty 16 year old you see in your local supermarket packing shelves. The gap between one thing and another is so big I don’t think we even need to talk about it!!
And what the fuck is up with the hello kitty nonsense? stupidest thing i ever heard, what on earth does Stygma have to do with hello kitty??? download the catalogue.

…calm self man…know I went too far that road…but still I stick to my point…we all appreciate your work… that “Hello Kitty shit” was just an Eddy Murphy outburst… I really look up to people like you guys who throw themselves down the silliest stuff…I know I could never do the same…I know this deserves an apology. Sorry for that. I just don´t wanna see us head for the sell-out exit…and even that is stupid to imagine… But since rolling is so pure and honest to me there´s no such thing as havin´it turn into something..you know…less trustworthy than what we have right know…won´t be able to make my point anyway. So take it like this. Been a jerk. Sorry.
