Street Artist Wheels (March 15th, 2010)

Here are the production image leeks from our factory in California, that’s right US fucking A.
Better urethane, better cores, we are keeping good on our promise to bring you not only the finest in clothing and most exclusive rollerbladers, but we also stepped up the wheel game.
Working closely with Undercover to produce wheels that last longer and don’t decore as easily.
In the meantime soak in these post-production pics. Wheels ship out March 15th, 2010.

dont spend too much energy in wheelgraphics… theres need for a fast & durable wheel – not for a pretty one

Eulogy is tough to beat.

“Working closely with Undercover to produce wheels that last longer and don’t decore as easily.”
You just lost some credibility, Street Artist.

The last run of Street Artist wheels were already amazing. Don’s 58mm wheel is one of the best i have ever ridden.

the new undercovers are great by the way – im serious, cause usually i fuck up a set of wheels within a week

If you look closely the core extends a lot just like new UC Pro wheels. If they are made in the same way as new UC – way to go!!!

Anybody notice the UC logo on the wheels? I know resources are limited, but it seems strange for competing wheel companies to be working together in such a small market. In that, it seems to me, one (brand) will do better than the other thus pushing the less successful out. This might be especially likely since it seems as though UC and Street Artist wheels will be the same urethane with different graphics because they are being produced by the same factory.
It also worries me that a small company like street artist will become a subsidiary of a larger company like UC/The Conference through this move.
Does anybody know who is in control of Street Artist right now? Just curious because I had high hopes for ST.AR. when I first heard AJ and Murda where starting it and I would be bummed if it fell by the wayside.

I had low expectations when I first heard their name “Street Artist”. Honestly, it’s the dumbest most generic name they could’ve come up with.
Terrible.

By the way, stupid Undercover shouldn’t be taking credit for “producing” SA’s wheels. UC can’t even produce urethane worth a shit on their own.
If anything, it should be promoted as “AEND is producing Street Artist’s wheels”.
Fuck UC and the Conference.

Love the wheels, and people are harping on UC without trying their latest line. I tried them, some of the best wheels I have put under my feet. I love Eulogy, don’t get me wrong, but I find I like to ride the Eulogies for street, and the UC’s for Street Artist wheels for park, they just have more grip.
March 11th, 2010 at 10:29 pm
fuckit, dont judge on undercover before you tried the latest wheels… theyre the shit
March 11th, 2010 at 10:44 pm
just letting you all know that a lot of wheels are made at the same place others are made at

The new line of UC wheels is def the best wheels I’ve skated in 14 years. The old ones were garbage, but the new ones are worth every penny! Haven’t tried Street Artist yet, but feedback would be nice.

I know it’s not fair, but I got tired of getting burned on bum wheels from companies other than Eulogy. So now I’m hesitant to try new wheels when I don’t see how they can be notably better than Eulogy. Unlike frames or skates, wheels don’t really have much variation to them other than size. The graphics wear off in like 2 sessions.

Do i see 55 92a! DAMN! Thats would be the best to ride flat. I am sold. just got to finish off my eulogy and undercovers. They might last me to next year. Flat is the best!

bballog, I was a faithful Eulogy buyer/supporter for a long, long time. They are great wheels. I’m riding Demitrios wheels now, and I couldn’t be happier. Def give them a chance!

+1 on the wheels being labeled as “AEND” as opposed to having the UC logo on them
Im just annoyed that UC has their logo on street artist wheels. And i”m curious exactly why the UC logo is on them in the first place?
March 12th, 2010 at 3:38 am
yeah I’m thinking I will never quit riding my Eulogy wheels. Rob L. wheel is my all time fav…never had a single problem with eulogy so why switch, ever?
March 12th, 2010 at 4:00 am
I still own Street Artist, don’t like the name if you don’t want to. UC logo is on them because we are piggybacking molds and formulas, the new ones are legit, I would rather put AEND on them, we will never be a part of the conference, I don’t pay the conference, wheel graphics wear off, our wheels are better now then before, we will be moving forward with bigger and better things as a company so don’t be afraid of us getting swallowed up.
Heat btw took a lot of business from eulogy when they were the ‘same brand’ UC will be fine and we will be fine since we aren’t in competing markets. Not many US skaters rock them since they have eulogy and don’t have many ties to UC pros (from what ive heard) now US skaters have a team that they can identify with along with a superior product and what is soon to be wonderful marketing and videos.
peace.

Word, good to hear. Thanks for clearing that up AJ.
March 12th, 2010 at 7:57 am
Price? UC cost more, will these cost as much as UCs. I am not saying I wouldn’t buy them, I am just interested.
March 12th, 2010 at 10:13 am
why are they all white urethane AJ?? you’re already rockin’ the UC logo on the wheel & “piggybacking molds and formulas” why not colors too??? you are we are the street artists, so put some color(s) under my/our feet!!! i demand it!!! because i love your team, & i love different color wheels!! i have uc eirler blues, demetios blacks, howard yellow/green. i love UCs new urethane & since it’s almost now impossible to wear these bitches down or out, i just get tired of the color & buy new ones, with color matching laces, i swear. i’m most definitely going to support STAR specially with this new compound you’re working with, i’m just not feeling white wheels right now.

Just dye them if you want colored wheels.

These wheels look legit. I like the new graphics too.
Nice job on the CK wheel, I like the 55/92a. The graphic isn’t too overbearing either, nice.
