Street Artist: Billy O’Neil Advertisement
We went great lengths on the final day of our NYC trip to shoot, print, make, and execute this wheatpaste advertisement.
Corner store was closed, the Kinkos was 14 CITY blocks away, location one was aborted, and we were all too blacked out to execute.
Billy disappeared and I had no idea who the lookout was. All in all, fucking awesome! Check out the how to, and the night of ruckus below!

This is a quick over view, via iphone video, of how we made the wheatpaste, shot the ad, and what the printouts look like.
Behind the scenes of a drunken last night with Billy in Manhattan. We had gone out to Continental for shots and then karaokeeeeeee until 4am. Too done to make things straight, sloppy execution on the cop watch, but 9 minutes and we were done. NOT how you should do it. *Don’t do this at home… :-)

1. tryin to do it quick enough to not get arrested and being a bit tipsy means probably fuck the bubbles, lets just get this shit up quick
“great way to add for free, but why didn’t billy do the work he took credit in the pics for?”
2. don’t you think it pretty stand upish for the guy who came up with the ad and owns the company to do the work should someone need to take the fall if trouble with the cops ensued?

OMG, street art, its so hot right now, oh wait and thats the name of the company, DOUBLE OMG, so clever, i really like the end result but wheatpasting with 2 cameraman is kinda a bad idea haha, its something original not some motion graphics played out bs

i think it was a really neat process to witness on their behalf. i like “writing” in all forms so that was dope even tho it had bubbles, that shit happens. plus if i saw that on the street i would straight lose. you cant argue.
