January 7th, 2009 at 7:48 pm
well being an international pro im sure he gets some kind of paycheck, i dont think the conference payed the dude, but what do i know
January 7th, 2009 at 7:52 pm
you’re right it’s just for money…
January 7th, 2009 at 7:53 pm
actually just forget my question, im sure if he chose to ride for them it was better for him
January 7th, 2009 at 8:15 pm
be payed is better than be not payed for sure,…and of course it’s better for him… no problem with that.. and maybe now conference will unterstand proskaters needs money to live.. like others humans,…because they’re humans!!! they don’t eat, frames, boots, wheels or t shirts…. ;)
January 7th, 2009 at 8:19 pm
Amazing tricks!
January 7th, 2009 at 8:33 pm
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! NOT RB!
January 7th, 2009 at 8:33 pm
I would say bad move by Swain. Even if rb pays him, I am sure it isn’t a good salary. There is no future in this brand, and the skates are horrible! leave USd just for few bucks… too bad!
January 7th, 2009 at 8:48 pm
wheres that skate park in the picture???
January 7th, 2009 at 8:51 pm
ugly skates/ugly song.
January 7th, 2009 at 8:58 pm
UMMMM, WHO?
January 7th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
money money money!!!
money rules the world…
January 7th, 2009 at 9:27 pm
ok first off…those skates are 2 sizes too big for him
and look how he reps them!
dont judge a skate just by its appearance alone.
all ive heard is good things about these skates, and i dont think its a bad move at all for him to have gone to RB
true, they have bad elements in there past, but from what ive seen and heard since they have there new team, there well back on form and treating there pros extremly well.
this edit is siccck!
so many hammers
props swainey!
January 7th, 2009 at 9:41 pm
+ ive seen these skates in the flesh, two sizes too big, and i still thought they were quite nice + they seem to skate amazing.
dont judge till you see/….
January 7th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
ont s’en fou du rollo si il est beau ou pas la il peut gagner de la tune en roulant ça c’est un petit plus à pas négliger bravo pour toi , après il doit grave s’en foutre de ce que vous penser vous

January 7th, 2009 at 10:22 pm

sick hammers
fuck haters
January 7th, 2009 at 10:28 pm
its not about money or anythin he just was too gd to not be pro for usd in my opinion it was a gd move for him and all the best to him hope he does well
January 7th, 2009 at 10:39 pm
he ripped that shit in those rb’s theres no need to judge a book by its cover by any means no matter who he’s skatin for everyone juss keep doin what we love to do and keep rollin peace.
January 7th, 2009 at 10:52 pm
swain are you fucking serious?
leaving USD for RB?
That brand will be dead in a year or two anyway seeing as you hear fuck all from them these days and just cause USD didnt give you a pro skate yet.
get a grip fgt.
January 7th, 2009 at 10:56 pm
oh hell no you have no idea what your talking about
rollerblade are a strong brand.
like it or not they have the strongest brandname ever and for that reason alone will always be in the sport.
you dont here fuck all from them actually
you see there pros killimg shit all over the place
i suggest.
you stop
think
realise how thick you actually are
and silence your dumb opinions before you make assumptions.
how do you know whether it has anything to do with a pro skate?
you ever thought they may not have been treating him properly at all aside from that?
stupid naive fool!
January 7th, 2009 at 11:21 pm
He needs a lesson in steez. He has good tricks, there’s no argument of that, but his skating is just not interesting to watch.
January 7th, 2009 at 11:32 pm
his style and skating is much more interesting than that douch bag alfano…
January 7th, 2009 at 11:39 pm
Hey serieux c’est degueulasse il ressemble a rien et c’est au moins le dixieme meme edit pourri de park qu’il balance.
De la merde!
January 8th, 2009 at 12:05 am
i really liked the filming in that edit :D :D :D :D haha
Why is everyone saying he is doing it for the money?
Think about it he was on the UK am team at USD and then he gets asked to go on the International pro team for one of the biggest rolleblading companies theres ever been, he would of been mad not to have taken it. A big step up for him in my eyes…
I skated these skates for a good 2 hours the other week. I think they skate a little bit like the Razor SLs but they are even lighter and slide even faster and even though you are all saying they look horrible they actually look pretty good in real life.
January 8th, 2009 at 1:33 am
i think he looked better on usd but who knos as of now, i wanna skate those and get to the bottom of this debate
January 8th, 2009 at 2:26 am
ACKWORTH POP POP
January 8th, 2009 at 2:42 am
fuck yeh, that was awesome, style, edit, filming, song. really enjoyed that. Rollerblade is the one brand I’m aware of in our industry that might have some actual money. the company is part of the sports history, its been in it since the beginning, it coined the fucking word Rollerblade, it owns the word. So I would show some respect to them, and support them for supporting this sport all this time and not pulling out, like so many others. even if they made bad decisions in the past like dropping their whole legendary team for new riders, dont forgive them for it, just repect that they have continued to contribute to Rollerblading.
January 8th, 2009 at 3:34 am
To “oh hell no”:
Rollerblade is the longest running company in rollerblading history and they are not going anywhere anytime soon. USD on the other hand (like most brands) im not 100% sure that they could be around in another year or 2. I don’t skate either brand but don’t hate on a company that has done more for our sport than any other.
January 8th, 2009 at 3:52 am
I don’t know why everyone “tries” to hate on Rollerblade either…
They got me into this sport back in the mid nineties, and many of my other friends. Sure after my first pair I wanted to switch brands to try something different, but TRS aren’t bad at all. And if Rob Guerrero skates Solos they must be pretty damn good. Granted I don’t like the look of the skates much either, but some of the best pros have skated for them.
I think some of these “kids” that don’t like rollerblade are posers, and don’t even realize that without rollerblade we wouldn’t exsist.
January 8th, 2009 at 4:31 am
wack pencil style and RB blows cock.
January 8th, 2009 at 7:29 am
woooow..that was reaaallly style free. Some seriously boring stuff.
January 8th, 2009 at 9:54 am
that had to be the most boring edit ever! FR
January 8th, 2009 at 10:37 am
he looks much better in those skates than he ever looked on usds,so much more steezy and solid!! they suit him real well.
January 8th, 2009 at 11:54 am
The dude has serious lack of style.
His skating is so boring, he’s incredibly good at rollerblading, but still no-one knows who he is, and for the reason that no-one cares, his skating has no impact in any way.
January 8th, 2009 at 1:25 pm
o god rollerblading is the worst now. how is he pro ha ha ha, hows he gonna make u wanna buy a pair of rbs……. rollerblade fell off hard!
January 8th, 2009 at 5:02 pm
anybody out there skating for a uk flow team for a huge company like USD that gets an offer from another company asking them to skate for the international PRO team would take the chance. Some of you out there don’t know what he has been offered including me but im sure he has a salary and a travel budget to contests and thats both more than what USD where offering so why not take it, this way he will get the chance to see the world and also hang out with other PRO’s on tour another thing USD would not offer.
I know that RB where looking for a UK pro to rep the brand they even asked me but i have a good deal already, I think its great now that steve has a chance to get his name out there and you will find that the people hating are the people not as fortunate as him FACT!!
Haters keep hating and steve will keep skating.
The only problem i have with this is that it should have been USD offering him something NOT RB.
keep killing it Steve!!
Chaz
January 8th, 2009 at 5:53 pm
The skating in that edit was crazy! sounds like hes got a good offer, congrats
January 8th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
at the end of the day all you can skate is park, and yeah a little street. and yeah you have got steez on park but… c’mon why in the world did RB offer him a place? WE all know that there is plenty more deserving people from the UK… i personally know that this will put a whole bunch of people off of getting the new RB’s, especially if they are associated with steve swain…again, produce a SICK and an acceptable professional standard section with both street and park, cos at the end of the day, you have to be able to skate both just as good, and you cant stephen you can only skate park,
and its not hating cos its a fact… there is much better english rollers out there more deserving then steve
peace,
January 8th, 2009 at 6:41 pm
wheres the glamour in becoming a pro rollerblader when you can earn more money working in super market lol! pros dont get paid shit
January 8th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
it seems like a bit of a sell out but yknow hes sick at skating and obviously doesnt want to be one of the many really good skaters out there with no future cause they wanna stick with one brand or whatever. i say good on him he’s sick and i think if he can get paid and travel and have more edits and sections for me to watch due to this then i dont care who he rides for.
January 8th, 2009 at 7:06 pm
and err i dunno why ppl think he cant skate street but heres a link of him and lomax skating street http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=71SbVcNKu0o (if you havent seen it already)

January 9th, 2009 at 5:36 am
i mean he fucks skating, like puts that shit to sleep
+ 1000 pts
January 9th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
to arron… which other people from the UK are more deserving? which other people make lots of edits repping there sponsors? and try to travel to EVERY competition thats going down? i cant think of many big competitions this year that swain hasnt been too, except the ones in america due to lack of funds. He also normally finishes in atleast the top 5 in every comp he is in aswell.
Who else does this from the UK? Except Chaz and Nick?

I just think it’s great that Steve won one of Richard’s skate jams and Rollerblade has chosen him too. Everything is good for you Steve – never miss an opportunity that comes your way and turn any negative to positive just as Rich would have. You’re the best!
It’s all good
