Why is there so much hate against hammers these days? I can see if this was the only video this guy put up, but damn…he is consistantly doing this. It’s not like he is a one time show where he hucked himself and that was it. I am not saying he is the best rollerblader out there, but damn, give the guy his credit. The “international system of rollerblading” I.E. judges, organizers, sponsors and above all the crowds OWE Mr. Stephane Alfano the credit he deserves and a wild card back into “official” rollerblading. He has been denied so much in this sport and is still going, he is a true lover of the sport and has proved to be so honest to it so many times in history it´s overwhelming.
He is the Diego Armando Maradona of the sport!
And about him being rollerblading or not…goodness, questioning that is questioning diversity! Saying he is not is enough to grow a mustache and start to plan ruling the world and planning another holocaust, elitism is dangerous boy, go and attend to your psychologist!!!

the only way to get more stylish skaters is to get more people into skating, but skating is so negative right now it really is unappealing to A LOT of people (myself included)
YOU could help by being supportive of other skaters actions and working on the primary problem: we need more people enjoying our wonderful sport
OR you could keep dissing and maybe stephane will quit, and then all those kids who look up to him in europe will quit, and then we’ll have about a thousand fewer skaters in our industry, even fewer “stylish” skaters to choose from but you’ll be happy because you’re unstylish soul grind will be featured instead of stephane’s insane flat spin a0 soul

This is what happens when there is change. The older will not accept it. Fair enough. You will eitehr accept it or remain the way you are. I for one need to accept this change because it is necessary. This is PROGRESSION at it’s finest especially considering a pair of skates strapped on to someone’s feet. You need to admit you didn’t see this coming. This is progression. This is something you do not see every day. Sure you won’t see it too often in the near future but it will be there. It will happen again and again and again. The more it happens the more accepted it will become. Rollerblading is finally branching out into several styles. Now we have the Technical, Monster Tricks, Mushroom Blading, Spin to Win, Steezed Style, Parkour Inspired. We now have several style types we can associate blading to! I fully welcome this style despite the era i grew up in (i am 28). Hell i would try this if i could do a flatspin consistently XD. So Prince you can stand your ground and support the roots. It’s nice to reognize the roots. We need to always remember the roots. But it’s beautiful to see the inspired future. This is a future i fully welcome.

Amazing trick, only Alfano or a few others could deliver a big trick like this. But I’d agree with the above posts that the awesomeness fades really fast when he starts to go crazy right after, then he runs over and hugs his boyfriend until the cameraman gets uncomfortable and turns away. He gets props for the trick but the emotion part was overboard, he looked like he just won an Olympic Gold Medal or the World Series.
